I have told the HGDU that he better hurry up and find a better job so I can be a housewife. I'm bloody sick of working! Imagine being free to do whatever you want whenever you want, "but you'll get bored" says the HGDU, "will I fcuk" says I, just give me half the chance I could work part time, I've seen a part time job for thomson the travel agency, that would be good!
Anyway, back to the diet stuff. Yesterday was pretty good. I had a packet of french fries & 2 dairlylea light triangles that I prob shouldn't have had, but I was starving and the boy was taking forever to come home from work. I only have 4pts left to last me today, tomorrow & thurs. I will have to be really good!
Todays Menu:
Bfast: Bran Flakes, Skimmed & Raspberries
Lunch: Baked Tater, ELF & Salad
Dinner: Core Lasagne & Salad
I can't wait to have my tea tonight, haven't had lasagne in absolutely ages, and although it won't be as good as my mums which is laden with yummy cheese, it will still be a good substitute!
I've had a fantastic lazy weekend, trying not to think about work tomorrow!
Well I had my day of on Friday as usual, had a chinese chicken curry & fried rice and it was fab! Kind had the day of on saturday aswell, well I was good all day, but had the rest of my curry for my tea, blaming that one on Paul McKenna.
Finally done the 'mind programming cd' and laughed most of the way through it, he sounds like a sex pest! Vfunny and not very relaxing, but I'm going to stick with it! Might do it now actually.
Still loving core, had a really yummy tea last night, balsamic chicken with roasted veg, it was awesome, but only ate about half of it, again, blaming Paul McKenna for that one.
I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning, and my bad weekend hasn't done any damage, yet! Still weighing the same as Friday which is good news. Hoping to get 2 off this week. Will be walking home from work all week again. Still haven't joined the gym yet, I just don't have the spare cash at the moment. Maybe next week. (thats such a bad attitude)
Todays menu consists of:
Bfast: Nothing - slept through it!
Lunch: Baked Tater with tuna mayo & sweetcorn
Dinner: Not sure, maybe pasta or homemade burgers, depends what the HGDU wants.
Well after my week on core, I have lost 1.5lbs. It's not a spectacular loss, but a nice healthy one to go with all the healthy stuff I've been stuffing down my neck LOL
I am so happy that its Friday and even happier that it's a bank holiday and I'm not back at work until Tuesday. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I've also started doing Paul McKenna's "I can make you thin" I've not done the cd yet as I'm a bit terrified of it. He calls it a "mind programming cd" . Now I'm not sure if it's just me that concerned by this phrase, or if the general public are also worried by it. Mind Programming??? is that not what they do in zoolander to make him nearly kill the prime minister of malaysia? LOL. The techniques he gives in the book (mckenna not zoolander) are very similar to the principles of the core plan, eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full yada yada, I actually used this technique last night and as a result only ate half of my dinner. I'm having the rest for lunch today.
Speaking of which, here's my menu:
Bfast: Bran Flakes & Skimmed
Lunch: Core Carbonara
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Chinese prob, not pointed as its my wi treat, and I refuse to feel guilty about it!!
My friend Hayley had her bubba yesterday, a little boy named Ryan after his daddy. I'm so pleased for her, and now I'm an aunty!! well kinda.
I don't know why I'm so tired this week! I just cannot wait for the weekend.
So I kind of went a bit off track yesterday. Couldnt get anything half decent at lunchtime, and I missed breakfast, so I ended up munching on ryvitas with elf philly & marmite at about 6pm last night. I only had some potato salad for my tea though as it was after 10 before it was time to eat, so hopefully that won't have too much of a negative effect on the scales tomorrow.
I finish work at a reasonable hour today, so that will help, definitely having that pasta that i've been saying i'm going to have all week, 10pm is just too late at night for pasta though, I would wake up with a stomach ache and thats not what I want!
can you tell I'm tired?? Went to cheer mal on at a competition and didnt get home till nearly midnight, was ABSOLUTELY F**KING STARVING when I got in, so made home made burgers. Hate eating at that time of night, but I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep unless I ate something. Ended up not going to bed till after 2am.
Then I had an early meeting this morning, boo, hiss, so I missed breakfast. I've not even got a face on today, which is practically unheard of, but I just can't be arsed!
Heres my menu:
Bfast - nothing
Snack: Ryvitas & ELF Philly
Lunch: Baked Potato & Marmite
Snack: French Fries - 1pt from allowance
Dinner: Core creamy veg pasta from tracker.
Champions League Final tonight, don't normally watch crap english football, but I think I'll watch it tonight.
Why oh why oh why did I not do this before? I really don't understand why I've spent 6 months fannying around with points when there is this easy way!!!
*SCREAMS*
PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!!!! CORE IS NOT AS HARD AS YOU THINK IT IS!!!!
The way i'm feeling at the moment, I don't think I will ever go back to points. But lets just wait and see what the scales say on Friday shall we.
I was a bit tired when I got in last night, and not overly hungry, so instead of my chicken & salad I had ryvitas with elf philly, lettuce & wafer thin ham, I enjoyed it so much, I'm having it for lunch today :D
Snack: Bananananana & french fries - 1pt from allowance
Dinner: Not sure, possibly stir fry, but depends how hungry I am when I get in at 9pm. Hate eating big meals late at night.
Excitement at the office today, 12pm, fire alarm starts going off, takes us a few minutes to realise its not 10am on a Thursday, so I call London and get them to take over the phones, make my way calmly out of the building, and what comes along?
4 fire engines, one with big ladders!!
Oh how exciting, love firemen. I, however, don't like standing outside for a bloody hour while they investigate. Turns out there was a small-ish fire on the 2nd floor, but not big enough to warrant closing the office (BOOO, HISSS)
So i'm back at work now, getting angrier by the minute as trying to watch Tommy Burns funeral on BBC website, but it's not working.
