Spark People!!
Hey all,
I won't be using this page as my primary weight loss page anymore. I have found SparkPeople and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! You will too... you should check it out. This is the first weight loss website I have ever found myself on 24 hours. I LOVE it. It is SO simple to use... check it out:

Okay... so I'm a slacker...
Alright, well... I'm pretty fed up with my on again off again motivation for working out/losing weight. I have changed my mindset this time... I am going to try to incorporate a minimum of 30 min cardio into every day. That's it. One thing at a time... I think in the past I have been trying to do too much at once. I just need to do little changes.
List of goals:
1. Exercise for 30 minutes at least 6 days/week.
2. Post weekly weights on this website with a food diary.
3. Try to start paying attention to calories.
Weight loss goals:
1. 10 lbs: 260 lbs
REWARD: A new pair of earrings!
2. 10%: 243 lbs
3. 50 lbs: 220 lbs
REWARD: A New Outfit!
4. 75 lbs: 195 lbs
REWARD: SOMETHING BIG!!
5. 100 lbs: 170 lbs
REWARD: SOMETHING BIGGER!!!
6. 125 lbs: 145 lbs - GOAL!!!!!
REWARD: A Haircut from Brian!

A late start...
Okay, so it took me a little while to get started, but I think I am finally on track. I've been doing Jenny Craig for about a month and a half now. I'm not doing it verbatim, but I am relying mostly on their food for my daily routines. Today, I went and met with an exercise physiologist at the school fieldhouse. She took my depressing measurements, but I found that I had already lost 11 pounds, just from a few days of working out and eating healthier! Was I excited?? HELL YEA! So, she helped me design a workout plan for the next 6 wks. I can do it!
Today: My "hill" routine on the treadmill... 1 hour of 2 min interval changes from 3.0 incline to 9-10 incline. My speed was only around 2-2.3 mph, but that was good for me. It said I burned nearly 300 calories!! HOORAY!! I just hope I can stick with it...
Tomorrow... I try spin!

The first step...
Well, this is it. I am taking the first step to living a healthier lifestyle. I want to lose weight and feel better. It's Tuesday and our traditional night out, so I will go out tonight... in preparation of change tomorrow. I think that I will join Jenny Craig and hope that my hubby will join also. With both of us doing it together... I think we've got a better shot. Next time, I'll share some more details about myself.
