Yay!!!!

I did it!!! This morning I jogged on the treadmill for 30 minutes straight; non-stop.  I jogged 1.5 miles.  I am so proud of myself.  I really want to start training for a 5K.  I would like to run one in February or March of 2007 in Florida.  I am going to follow the training plan on www.halhigdon.com.  It is a great plan so I look forward to going through it.  Has anyone else on this site started from the bottom and worked their way up to a 5K.  I would like to hear your stories because that will motivate me even more.

What a wonderful day! I started my day off by having a delicious breakfast.  I had three egg whites and I added some spinach to it and I had a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of soy milk.  I didn't have time to do yoga this morning but I plan to go to the gym tonight and do a BodyPump class.  Robert and I did our stairs routine around the building; it was a great workout.  For dinner, I had a footlong sub from Subway and some sugar free chocolate candy.  I also drank lots of water.  It was my mom's birthday so I gave in and had a slice of chocolate cake and some soda.  I couldn't disappoint the little ones.

Brand New Day!!!

Hello everyone!  Today is a wonderful day.  I started my day off around 5:05 a.m. today.  I had a protein shake mixed with water.  I took some of my vitamins.  I made it to the gym at 6:00 and walked on the treadmill for five minutes and rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes.  when I got home, I did my 10 minute yoga DVD.  For breakfast, I had one packet of oatmeal and I took the rest of my vitamins and drank some more water.  Robert and I did our stairs routine around the building when I got to work. Around 10:30 a.m. I had a serving of mixed nuts and water. For lunch I had a delicious meal that I made.  I made it with ground chicken, organic spaghetti sauce and some whole wheat bow tie pasta and I drank some more water.  It was delicious.  For dinner, I had three Kashi whole grain blueberry waffles with sugar free syrup and a GNC protein shake.  I didn't do any more exercise just mainly walking around the store with the kids.  I had a great day!

First Day

Hello,  Today is my first day on extrapounds.  I came across this site from someone that posted a link on the WW site.  I have an active blog at http://www.mswhizy.myblog-online.com but I like this one much better because people will actually get to see it and I and view others and communicate with people that are on the same journey as I am.  I started my journey about eight weeks ago and now I am on week nine.  My goal is to lose 24 lbs. in 12 weeks.  So far I have only lost 11 but I am going to keep going.  The journey to my first destination ends on September 3, 2006 but after that, I will continue.

I am really going to like this site and it is going to be very helpful to me on my journey.  From today on, I am going to use this blog to track my eating and exercising. I am happy to be here and look forward to meeting many new friends.
