Please Help!
Good evening everyone,
I went to the gym as planned today but I felt a little tired, I didn't burn as many calories as I would have liked but I did manage to burn 720 today. I seem to have a bit of a problem (I think). I always feel a little hungry for some reason. For the past maybe week or so I've been staying between 1200-1500 calories a day, but I always feel a little hungry, I don't know if it's a mind thing or what. I have some how been able to get through it , but I don't want to end up caving in to value meal with fries or a all meat pizza with green peppers and mushrooms one day. Does anybody know of anything that I can possible eat that is low calorie/low fat that can possible hold me over between meals. Then again I don't know if I'm hungry of if it is a mind thing because I am so use to eating all the time, my stomach is just use to being full all the time.

how much water do you drink?
girl you are not alone, i have gone to bed hungry many nights. i talked to the personal trainer at the gym and he sugested that i drink one half of my body weight (in ounces) of water each day. he said sometimes you are dehydrated and mistake being thirsty for being hungry. okay you asked for snack ideas, here are some of the things that i enjoy: low fat sugar free jello or pudding, yogurt, trail mix, fruit, veggies, low cal fudge bars, granola bars, boiled egg, slim fast snacks, special k bars, i switch up my snacks so i dont get sick of having the same thing. try to focus on portion control and stay within your calorie limit. you may be hungrier because you are working out more. if you are like me, you have learned that food will make you fat, and the fat is hard to get off,no pizza or extra value meal is worth it. keep on eating right and working out, it will pay off!

Thanks...
Thanks girly for the advice and it feels good knowing that I'm not the only hungry one. I will try to drink more water tomorrow. I normally get 64oz no more than 70oz a day but I will step it up tomorrow and see how that goes and you are so right "fat is hard to get off". You are so supportive...Thanks alot...Enough about me I see that you are on a roll yourself which is excellent. I see that you have lost a little over 25lbs which is great, that is a sure sign of guaranteed success, and with the support and advise you give me I am positive that you will do it this time :)

H2O and some grapes!
I see lots of suggestions for water. That works for me too, sometimes... Fruit is also a good choice. I crave sweet stuff at night & I have found just a handful of grapes (or watermelon or apple or whatever you've got in the fridge) helps too. It makes you feel like you've eaten something, satisfies that "chewing" urge, is sweet and does not blow a whole days worth of eating good. You are doing well, keep up the good work!

Some solutions that help me....
Just a few ideas because if your like me, eating grapes and drinking water is a great idea, but just would not do it for me. I make sure my meals have a balance of 300 calories each and that leave me at least 300 SNACK calories and that is only 1200 calories, but I always eat snacks between every meal and if Iam still "starving" I have a ww desert at night and that still leaves me under the 1500 ( your goal)so here goes:
no sugar jello with a dollop of fat free coolwip
no sugar chocolate fudge bars ( have 30 calories)
tapiocca pudding - individual portioned ( no sugar) cozy shack - has 90 calories
weight watcher - candy - 1 pc. 40 calories ( depending on how many you have available - usually one but no more than two!
weight watchers key lime pie deserts - 190 calories - small portion but delicious.
16 ff pretzel ( thin) sticks - count out portion and calories are 115
animal crackers - 16 cookies - 120 calories
breakfast cereal in individual package - 140 calories with 1/4 cup of skim milk. I buy the packages you give to kids to control the portion.
ww eclairs - 140 calories
SO my dear, thats alot of snacks but don't eat more than calories you have allotted... I hope this helps.... the only way you or I, can allow ourselves such luxury is to be honest with our selves and our online bloggers and be accountable for the choices. There are many other options and yes, fruit is good, but don't forget you still have to count the calories. Hope you have a hunger free time soon.....and then remember: "This too shall pass"... the hunger that is. lol.
