I failed...

So I totally failed at the don't change your outfit diet. I admit it. I just couldn't do it. Brooke did it though and met her goal. She looks awesome and is such an inspriration. Congrats to her.

So even though I have fialed and changed my clothes I am not ready to give up the fight against my increasing middle....

It is finals time for me at school and it makes my stress level so high... I just want to grab a candy bar or how about a cake... I am going to suruve this and hoopefully pass all my finals. My new routine is to walk 3 miles every morning with my MP3 player.

My first goal is to walk 30 miles. Here is my ticker:

Almost 1 week...

When I started this I didn't realize how difficult it would be!! Keeping up on washing it and having it dry in time has been interesting. On Saturday it was my Grandpa's 80th birthday and we had a big party at an italian resturant. Before leaving for the party my mom called she wanted to know what I was wearing. I laughed and told her of course I am wearing my uniform!! She seemed surprised and said are you serious?? Yes I was serious and I did wear my uniform. This week I have also added exercise. I rode my bike twice and went on two walks. The bike rides were fun. I rode my new purple cruiser with Michael , my youngest ,on the trail-a-bike and my oldest, Christopher, rode along with us. Good Times!!!

Day 2

Well it is day two and I just finished making a little sign that say "Don't change your outfit diet Day 2"  so that everyone knows why I wear the same clothes everyday.  I wouldn't want anyone to think I was just dirty. hahaha

So this will be interesting. I wonder if I will get lots of questions or comments. I am kind of shy so I really hope it isn't a big deal.

I walked 3.29  miles yesterday and will be off on my walk again very soon. I also ordered a new bike that should be here tomorrow. It is a purple cruiser and will be one of my main methods of transportation from now on. No more living in the Odyssey!!

Joining a friend and buying an outfit...

Well I decided to join a friend of mine on her "don't change your outfit diet".  She has been doing really amazing and it is really motivating. So today I went out and bought an outfit that I thought I could live with wearing everyday. I didn't realize how hard that would be. I looked over the racks in the athletic department for a while before deciding. Now I am the proud owner of a black track suit with stripes down the side and a blue shirt. Very basic and I will be wearing for a long time. So starting now I will be wearing this outfit everyday until I loss 60 more pounds. I am already down 20 since I started my low carb diet.   Here is a pic of me at my heaviest and was one of the wake up calls that started my weight loss journey.
