Week 7, Day 2 - Amazon Frenzy
In anticipation of getting my tax refund this last week (it came Thursday...YAY!), I went on a shopping spree at Amazon.com. Along with a bluetooth headset for my new cell phone (an AT&T Tilt), I picked up several weight loss books. I'm not looking for a new diet because I really do like the Smart for Life program. What I need is brain food for the emotional & boredom eating I'm still dealing with. I picked up:
-Winning by Losing: Drop the Weight and Change Your Life by Jillian Michaels (from The Biggest Loser)
-The Beck Diet Solution: Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person by Judith Beck
-Beck Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook
-Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think by Brian Wansink and
-The Biggest Loser Fitness Program (just because)
That should keep me busy for awhile.
I started Winning By Losing last night. I need to get over this thing I have about writting in brand new books so I can get the most out of it. Either that or I'll have yet another book filled with sticky notes! 3M loves me. 
On a program note, I had my first soup and pudding today. They're both pretty okay. I think I'll do the soup more often (a few days a week). The pudding, probably less often than the soup. Oh, I started the muffins yesterday, and they're definitely a keeper. I hope they come out with a flavor other than orange cranberry though.
