Having a Good Day
I've not felt this right about where I am in many long weeks. I wish I knew what caused me to get down and off so easily. I could say it was just stress, but I'm afraid it goes deeper than that. Or maybe it's because my stress is more severe and wide-spread than it used to be. Gee, ya think?
Anyway, this morning I did 5 minutes on the elliptical and the full 20 minute workout part of the intro Turbo Jam DVD. It was incredibly difficult because the girls wouldn't just let me do my thing. They were crawling between my legs or sitting on my feet...even trying to jump on my back from the sofa that was 2 feet behind me. Ugh!! Maybe, if I actually keep it up, they'll get used to it and either join me or leave me alone. L was especially difficult. At one point, she got her toes stepped on because she decided to start her tantrum at my feet just as I started moving. E was dancing for awhile, but she doesn't stay entertained for more than a few minutes at a time anyhow. I'm considering a trial of getting up super-early in the morning to work out. That would mean I have no me time at night, but we'll see how it works. If it doesn't, I'll definitely have to do it as soon as I get home from work.
I also have breakfast and lunch cooked for all next week. I'll be dining on Chicken Capri, Paprika Shrimp & Green Bean Saute, as well as cheesecake for breakfast.
Gotta love that!! Dinner tonight is Chicken Capri and steamed asparagus with a pseudo brownie for dessert once the girls are in bed (they don't need any more sweets this week!!).
Must go check the cheesecakes. I hope to have a good update for ya later in the week.
