Has it really been 6 months?
Time has FLOWN by! I hope all of my EP friends are doing well in weightloss-land. Some of you know that I was in a bad car accident in May. But God spared my life and not only did He spare me... but he was merciful enough to allow physical therapy to work wonders on me this summer. His grace is sufficient and I have the testimony to prove it.
It took me about 6 weeks after the accident to even begin to think about weight loss again. I found that it was more mental than anything. It takes mental stickwithitness to take on the challenge of losing weight and after my accident, I had a little pity party. :-\Thank you Lord I bounced back from that bit of depression and realized that I'm still here for a reason. And while I'm here, I want to be healthy and happy.
Weight loss: Okay, I maintained my weight from March to May. After the accident, I stopped working out but did not gain. I got back in to healthy eating habits and working out about 4 weeks ago and it feels great! In all honesty, the scale has not moved much.... but it will!
I will try to be more consistent with my updates here because I garner a lot of motivation from all of you *off to read how your summers are going and ending!* For those of you who said a quick prayer for me, you'll never know how much it meant.
