Before After

Gone but not forgotten

OK, I have been off plan for about two weeks. Work has just been crazy, t raveling and stressful. Every meal has been planned for me. Exercise time nearly non-existent. I am vowing to turn it around this week. I just spent a couple of hours re-organizing my home office to make room for working out. I have about 5 boxes of junk to go through but my hubby hooked up a tv and moved the desks around to make space.

I have been eating ok except for the meals on the road. You know people don't order healthy for business dinners, but even when I was doing the ordering I was having trouble saying no to the fattening choices. My home scale says I am up 2 today (it was about 6 last week) but I have been avoiding JC.

I've still be looking at everyone's blogs, just haven't had the will to post. Next week is a quick trip to PA and then the week after is California. But I will be some of the time with my mom, she'll make me work out I am sure... and watch me like a hawk at dinner... Ah guilt, the gift that keeps on giving.

Hope everyone is having a good spring day. Will go check out the posts now!

Life is never easy!

Traveling for work and not having the ability to choose your own food is stressful! Just do the best you can until you have time to get your butt back to JC. It's a great idea to exercise in your home office. Now that you've made room- make sure you use it! Enjoy your visit with your Mom. Sometimes guilt is what gets us back on track. It's not always a bad thing! Good luck! Just jump back on the wagon!

every step

The good news is every morning we get to make a new choice.  Heck, every meal we get to make a choice right?  Remember it's for the long haul, so a minor setback will not stop you!  Happy Mom!  Gotta love 'em! :-)

do we have the same mom?

Probably not but I understand the guilt thing. Thanks for the post on my blog. Children are brutally honest but they don't say things out of meanness or spite so that's fine. Good luck on your traveling and exercising, I know you will it!

I feel for you

I can sympathize with you.  I went on a business trip at the end of March and still haven't gotten back on track.  It's so hard once you get off plan.

Hang in there.  Enjoy the time with your mom.  You'll get there. We all will eventually!

Hi!

Great to hear from you and know that when you are READY, you can do it!  Hope you are doing well and look forward to you posting again soon!

Happy Trails!

Hope you had/are having fun on your trips!  California sounds like fun, hope it wasn't and all-business trip!  How are things going on JC?  I see you've lost 19 pounds on your last update!  Way to go!

JC visits

I know what you mean about not wanting to go back.  I haven't scheduled another consultation yet b/c I've been off the bandwagon d/t illness.  The good news is that you can stay on plan and not go once you're a member.  They let you phone in orders and have hubby or a friend pick it up.  That's what I did and then once I'm back on track, I'm going back.  At least I have the food.  The consultations aren't that inspiring to me anyway, I just want the diet!  lol  Hope things get back on track for you soon, we've missed you!!!!!
