1/26 - Back on. Lost 5 lbs. in three weeks.
Hey. I'm feeling pretty good today, because I just got back on to post my new weight and found that I've lost 5 lbs. since I was last on here.
My weight-loss still isn't going very fast, but Hey! It all counts! It's so much better than gaining or maintaining.
A few days ago, I started lifting weights a little bit. At my age, I have to go easy to start with or else I'll hurt myself and then won't be able to do much of anything. So . . . I'm re-starting slowly and carefully. Patience.
I'm trying to get all three aspects of losing weight going for me: 1. food 2. aerobics 3. muscle-building,
I also have started telling myself that "I'm pretty." (Hey, God says to call things as though they ARE, doesn't He? LOL ) I give myself nothing but positive "self-talk" with a "can-do" attitude.
Well, that's enough for now. Be back another day with results again.

P.S. I just realized that I'm halfway back to the amount that I lost before!!! (I HAD lost about 45 or 46 lbs., then life hit my husband and myself hard -- right between the eyes-- then I regained almost all of my weight-- and now I've lost half of that ---- again!) Whooppppeeeee!!!
