I went and tried on my 14 jeans and I could pull them up...and even button them, and was sooo happy! Can't wear them yet..I must say, due to the extra middle..lol, but slowly & definitely surely, it's going away!!!

Long Time Coming....

Hello again everyone!!! I'm back....this has been a journey for me. I mean, just when I have a routine going and start losing weight, BAM, something happens to knock me off my rocker and I end up either back where I started or gaining more than before as in this current sitation....
 
I had lost 10 pounds in March, but just stopped running..why? I don't know...I just stopped...so I gained those 10 pounds back, plus another 8pounds to match it..lol. So I started over at 228. This is ridiculous!!! Why must it be sooo hard? or is it?
 
Well, that's neither here nor there...as I was saying as of June 15 I got on the scale and was shocked as what I saw....228...how could I have gained 18 pounds in 3 months...cuhraazzzzyyyy!!!
 
Needless to say, I needed to get my but in shape, for real...so I started working out...again..:) Borrowed a friends bike, and haven't gotten off since...I bike to work 5 days a week, I run for 30 min 5 days a week, I do 1 hour on th eliptical 7 days a week and weight train 6 days a week. I have got to get this fat off of me! for real...i'm just fed up! and plus...my b-day is coming up..Oct. 21. I wanna be sexy as I can be....ya feel me!
 
So to date, I've lost 9 pounds...but to be honest..I won't really call it victory till I lose the 18 pounds I gained and the10 pounds I lost initially...so I won't officially celebrate until I'm 200 pounds or less. I do know each pound is an accomplishment, but I make it that way to push myself to the max, to get my desired results. and it will be done, my friend!!

Got on the Scale and Guesss Whattttttt!!!!!!!

ok, so, I had a doc's appt on Fri. & as I told you all early on...I haven't been on a scale, & wasn't intending to until I got totally into my size 14's......welll, I had to weigh myself for the doc and was pleasantly surprised and motivated at what I saw....
 
 
 
I LOST 10 POUNDS....!!!!!
I am sooo happy...that is a major truimph for me.....and it really put me in check w/myself...
 
YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO....ONCE YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT!
 
And this was in 3 weeks...from running & eating heatlhy & just doing it!..I'm stoked...so I in like flinn....I will be down to 175 in 3-4 months tops...I'm ready...
 
 
So....on another note....Going running in a moment..increased my spead to 4.5 running 2 mi which shaved off 3 min total for the run...was thinking about trying to run for 2.5 mi and increasing w/that as well...what do you think?

Still in the Game!

Yes, it has been a while since I last posted, butttt I'm still herrrrrr!!!!
 
I've been doing at home exercise's and I must say it has been paying off. I haven't gotten on a scale...I don't want too, but I can tell in my clothes...i'm fitting in pants that I couldn't a month ago, and it feel oh so good...:)
 
i've been running 2 miles 5 days a week that equals to 10mi per week will up my mileage in a couple of weeks. But I'm pretty happy with my progress and as soon as I get back into my 14's then i will weigh myself...so I'm out of the 18's, back in the 16's, and they are fitting kind of loose...it's my thighs...thunder thighs...lol, hubby likes and that should count right?....well, I want them to be just a smidget smaller then I will be happy...:)

Stayn on the Grind!!!!

Hello alll, hope all is well w/everyone...As for me, well i haven't made it to the gym this week  due to certain circumstances, but although i haven't been to they gym..i have been burning calories.....

 

So...lets take it back to Fri....I was suppose to go to gym immediately after work.....but ran out of time due to an event that went on that evening..it was a Stepper's Ball, and OMGossshhh!!! You say fun?! I had soo much fun, danced 2 1/2 out of the 4 hours of being there, so I kind of figured that made up for the gym on that day. Sat. recouped from Fri. my feet was hurtn so bad...wore these 6 inch heels...so calves, quads, were burning...but that was good....

Sun..relaxed was still a lil tired, wasn't able to catch up completely w/my rest....decided on Mon to get back in the gym to "Work It Out"..lol...Monday comes andddd I had all intentions  of going to the gym to get my work out on....but lo and behold I fell on the slippery ice hurting my shin...it swelled and I was unable to go....on that day I also locked my keys in the car, but i happened to be at my husbands job so I wasn't totally out in the cold...but had to wait an hour with the car running till the locksmith came....then afterwards just went to my mom's house to chill out..the day was getting way outta control....

tues...my shin was still hurting, so decided to take another rain day....

wed. i was being lazy, although i did run outta time...but i just went home, cooked dinner & relaxed w/family..did some bonding and then hit the sack!!!..well before i hit the sack i ate some chocolate..but it was only 3 sqares or rectangles rather from a hershey's bar..and it was sooo delicious...and I'm proud I did it in moderation...so I didn't feel guilty afterwards...ok then I hit the sack..:)

today is thurs and i'm ready to get back in the gym...will go directly after work & then pick up the kiddo's and "take it to da house!".......

 

looking forward to getting my sweat on....

Workn & Stayn Focused!

 

I've been really  staying on the grind working to get this weight off....i'm eating right, working out, and finally have the right mindset....Been to the gym everyday this week so far...i want to go at least 5 days a week...burn this fat, burrrnnnn..lol
 
have a small accomplishment...lost 4 pounds really excited about that...and it's just the beginning...

Anotha Cold day in the AK

 

I went to workout last night in negative 0 degree weather. It's sooo cold here it's ridiculous...We've had a cold front here in Anchoage, AK for the past week, going into week 2 now...negative 14, negative 9, cold cold and more cold...it's suppose to warm up next week to 20 degrees, and I can't wait, it will be much warmer than it is now...Imagine going outside all bundled up but feeling as though your not, nose hairs hands ears freeze instantly, yea like that and no joke either.....but as i was saying...went to the gym last night and if felt soooo good, I did the running program, ran for 2 min. walked for 3, repeated 6 times & walked at a incline fast pace for 15 min. & it was doable, bearable, & it felt like i could go on, but once again, time was not on my side, so was just happy to get that 45 min. in.....My sister went with me for motivation, she's already in shape, but it doesn't hurt to stay in shape huh.....lol I guess not, or I wouldn't be where I am today, if only I'd had stayed in shape last year.......ho hum, well, not thinking backwards, thinking forwards positively, did it once, and can most definitely do it again.....
 
well, plan on going today after work, but not really sure...it's soo cold out..just wanna snuggle w/my hubby and watch a good movie...I have my gear, but we'll see

Hello all,

soooo, I went to the gym on yesterday, (1/8/09) and did the elliptical for 30 min. and burned 305 calories, wanted to stay a for an hour, but timing was way off yesterday, but it's all good, at least I got in right? right!

Hurt so Good!

Hello all, so I've been staying consistent.....Worked out on 1/5 on the elliptical burning  600 calories, 1/6 ran for 2 min. walked 3 min. repeated 6 times which equalled to 30 min. Spent the other 30 walking at a incline, burned 550 calories...tried to go to the gym on 1/7, but a little carried away with the schedule ran out of time, so looking forward to going today for the elliptical..i thinking i like that the best....burns the most, & it's easier than running....i am so sore...oh yea, i forgot to mention that on tues 1/6, my brother and I went dancing to help out some fellow churchmembers that is putting on a production, and wow, did that repeatedly for 3 hours straight, and yea...legs are feeling mushy, and wobbly, but it hurt so good.......
