Well, I just found this site and decided to see if it works. It is hard to manage what you eat. I sit in an office that's small & don't get much exercise. I sure would appreciate some feedback.

Welcome to EP. Good luck on your journey. Is it possible for you to get up during the day and just walk for a few minutes? Every little bit helps. Is there a parking lot that you could walk around? It is hard! I will totally agree with you on that. I know you will find lots of support on this board. It will work if you let it work, but you have to work at it too. Good luck and keep us posted!
I work in a small office too. Do you have enough time to walk during your lunch? I started to walk everyday at lunch and it really worked out well. I agree with TatumsMom about walking for a few minutes throughout the day. If you can just try and get up every hour and walk where ever you can for a couple of minutes, that little bit really adds up. Good luck and congratulations for making a change in your life. "Cheers" to a new and improved you!

In an office atmosphere, I bring my lunch. It also helps to get up and walk throughout the day. Best to you on your journey to good health!
I sit in an office and transcribe medical reports all day, so I know what your talking about. I talk my lunch and snacks with me including green tea, apples and peanut butter and pretzels or something low cal and crunchy. I try to modify my eating to something that I'm going to be able to do for the rest of my life. Deprivation and starvation are not something you're going to be able to sustain forever. Eat healthy and sensibly. If you backslide forgive yourself and get right back on the wagon. I figure slower weight loss with sensible eating is better than no weight loss at all. Hang in there girl. You can do it!
