I should work on posting more often... like I used to. But lately I haven't been much interested in the computer. I get that once in a while. I just get tired of it. Does this happen to anyone else?
Anyways, I guess I haven't been doing too bad... but it could be better. I've been going over my calorie limit almost everyday... and so that's something I really need to work on. My goal is to stay in between 1300 and 1500 daily but honestly, if I'm under 2000 I'm a happy camper. But I made goals for a reason... so I need to work on it.
Counting calories is really difficult! I use them up so fast and it makes me mad most of the time. But I did notice myself not eating anything I don't know calories for. Like, for example, the other day I wanted a cookie and I looked all over the box and couldn't find the nutrition label so I didn't eat it.
But I'm kinda sad that most things here don't come with nutrition labels... so I can't eat it. Well, I can but I won't. It's just easier for me that way.
So, here's my daily calorie consumption so far:
Sunday : 1067
Monday : 2044
Tuesday : 1474
Wednesday : 2117
Thursday : 1771

Calorie help
Have you tried using websites like Calorie King to look calories up? I've personally not used it, but I know a lot of people on EP have tried it.
But well done you for having restraint to say no when you can't count the calories for something. That shows amazing willpower.
are the evil twin! i am on a weightloss plan called Jenny Craig, they do all that for me right now while I learn portion control!! But I have been told by a doctor years ago, that if you take your plate after you dish your normal serving, and eat 1/2 of that you should see some improvements!! Good luck, and remember water, water, water is the good twin!
...that up and down in your daily calorie intake might actually be helpful. In WW they encourage that we eat different points daily so that the body will never think it's in starvation mode and not hold on to weight. I agree with Jenny in London, Calorie King is awesome...you can usually figure out the calories in something by piecing it together. But I will have to say, your method of not eating anything without a nutrition label is smart.
I'm on track still but Jeez, a fat lot of good it's doing for me! I must have overloaded myself with salt this past week. But I did eat a whole quart jar of kimchi all by myself. I had to laugh about you saying it made your fridge smell like ass. My husband hates when I bring it home just for that reason. Thanks for the tofu idea. I have some soon doobu in the fridge right now! And girl, you don't have to tell me about Spam. I could eat Spam, rice and kim every day!
Well, here's to kicking each other's butt! I'm hoping for a better week this week. I'm so bloated I feel like popping my stomach to get some relief!
Yes, I to get tired of coming to the computer every now and then, which is one of the reasons I've not been on for a while! But I've decided to come back again so I thought I'd check in and see how you are. Hope you are well.
on the calories. I still lose if I eat a full 2000 every single day. FRANCE - the bane of weight watchers everywhere! SO little nutrition info. Well done!
