OMG!!! What an awesome concert. Seriously the best concert EVER. Just the anticipation of this past weekend was driving me insane. It was WELL worth the wait. At one point during the concert we were 20 feet from them for 3 songs! No words can describe it! Here are the pics from the weekend and the concert.

BAN 229.
A two and a half pound loss.
I am getting ready to leave for my weekend with Buble. I will be back tomorrow afternoon sometime and then I have to go to work :(.
I took my BIOL midterm this morning and did surpisingly well. I don't know why I doubt myself.
Anyroad, I am off for my GIRLZ weekend with Mr. Buble. Pictures to follow!

Almost 2 days under my belt! I was a little discouraged this morning when I weighed but I didn't let it get me down. I am banning weighing during the week. For now on I can only weigh on my weigh-in day (Saturday or Sunday morning).
I am still struggling with the headache. I definitely think it is "food" related. Dinner is usually the biggest meal I eat and after I eat dinner my h-ache is gone. Common sense would tell me to eat a bigger brekkie but I do good just to eat brekkie let alone some huge meal. Today I did have 2 Kashi waffles with a veggie sausage patty and an apple with a tbsp of PB. It seemed to hold me over longer but I still got a headache.
I was smart last night. I made today's lunch and morning and afternoon snack. Again preparation is everything. I made a turkey sandwich and had yellow pepper strips with hummus, yougurt, v-8, and 2 rice cakes with 1tbsp PB. For my morning snack I had a SB Bar. I am in the car a total of 3 hours a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I have to eat in my car and those seemed to be a no fuss lunch. It was so nice to sit in my car, roll down the windows and enjoy the breeze. Its been lovely here lately. The university I go to has bells that toll on the hour and at noon they ring a hymn. I can't even remember the name of it at the moment. I just have too much stuff running through my head. Anyway. It was just so nice to take 30 minutes sit there, eat my lunch and enjoy nature and the tolling of the bells.
After I got home from school I did my usual domestic duties. I even manged to cook dinner for my boys...*SHOCKED* Its amazing what taking care of yourself first will do. It wasn't anything spectacular just chicken and roasties. I had salmon and brocoli and carrots. I even had help :) (see picture below)

I am taking 15 minutes to blog and then at 6:30 or so I am going to go for a walk to get my 30 minutes of activity in. Our neighborhood is hosting a "night out" and its tonight. Maybe I will get to meet a few of the neighbors. Anywho. Things are going well it seems. I have found that my attitude and preparation are key players with me.

It's raining in Big D today. The kids are out of school for fair day and I have a serious headache but you know what??? I made it through Sunday on track. It was tough too. I didn't realize how much of a routine I had got into just eating whatever I wanted. I had to catch myself a couple of time wanting to munch whilst doing my homework. I just swigged down some water and I was good to go. The goals I didn't meet yesterday were finishing my math homework, taking my soc test (by no fault of my own the test isn't available until today) and I didn't get my 30 minutes of activity in. With that said I HAVE been to the gym **gasps** I went after I got off work. I was going to do an hour but did 45 minutes. I just came home changed and didn't even give the negative me a chance to talk the positive me out of it.
It feels so good to be back blogging again. It's a wonderful outlet for my emotions.Writing stuff down and seeing my goals and knowing that I can just say what needs to be said to get it of my chest is a wonderful tool for weight loss. I have even started using the daily plate again. I was going to just use a food journal hand written but I really like TDP.
I think the most challenging thing for me during the week is Tuesday and Thursdays. I am at school from 8:30 to 3:30 and no access to a microwave or fridge. I haven't even been taking my lunch. I just grab a SB bar some string cheese and get a MCD iced coffee and that holds me over until I get home.
A few questions for you:
I am thinking about ordering the fit and fresh lunch pack to carry some veggies and yogurt and stuff in. Has anyone had any experience with these? Just wondering if they really work well. If you haven't had experience with these what would you use?
Any tips on a good lunch to take that doesn't need to be heated and can be eaten on the go?

I am doing good so far today. Got up had my cup of coffee, read the newspaper and now I am going to have my brekkie which consists of 2 kashi waffles and a morningstar sausage patty.

It is hard to believe its been over a month now since I have blogged. I am getting into some sort of routine in regards to school and its progressing nicely. Only 10 more weeks of school left!!! The next 2 weeks are going to be a mad house at work. October 15th is just around the corner and it is worse than April 15th.
As far as living well and losing weight there has been NONE of that going on in this house. I have been living on hotdogs and frozen pizzas and a lot of other crap that I shouldn't even let in the house but I had to for convenience sake and for the grocery budget. It cost some extra $$$$ to eat good. Plain and simple and now with having to fill up my ride twice a week with gas the extra money is eating away at my budget and unfortunatley not my waist line.
I haven't weighed in about a month. I know I have gained atleast 20 pounds because my clothes do not fit. I am down to one pair of pants for work and a pair of jeans (sadly I had to buy them since I don't have my bigger clothes anymore). Its depressing. I made up my mind today and today was the last straw. I have got to do something. I have given up on running as well. I may possibly be walking the half marathon in November if I even go. School has me backed up against a wall and I just can't seem to get away.
The consequence of my poorly eating and non existant exercise life has taken a toll on me mentally, emotionally and physically. I am slowly feeling my depression coming back. I have to do something NOW. Now is the time. Right now. So tonight I went to the store and tried to get what "healthy stuff" I could. I really need to get focused on drinking all my water and making better choices and exercising even if its just getting outside for 30 minutes to walk the dog. That's easy right? It's not like I have do deal with the 95+ degree weather anymore. I have no excuse.
With all that said tomorrow I start. The only goal I am setting is to take it day by day. Making sure that I get my water, eat sensibly (this does not include a snicker bar for dinner and I am not eating fast food) I also set a goal for 30 minutes a day of some sort of activity. And the good Lord willing perhaps a trip to that place with all the exercise equipment and lockers and stuff... I think its called a GYM! So there you have it. I will weigh myself in the morning and report in with my BAN weight.
My motivation for today... You only fail if you quit trying and I do not quit!
