Week 3: Lots of Stretching and Aerobics
It's Sunday, our first day of the week here. The sun is extra bright, as usual, too bright in fact. I did 20 minutes of stretching in the morning plus arm curls with a two-pound dumbell in each hand.
Last week - week 3- has been good. I have been able to do my basic aerobics routine almost every day. Although the scale didn't budge, I'm still pretty happy. I took my measurements and discovered that I have lost fat from my biceps and thigh areas! I am starting to get in shape!
Anyway, today I had the usual heavy, traditional Indian/Pakistani breakfast: wholewheat flat bread and stir fried vegetables - cauliflower and green peas, and a cup of tea. I really don't worry about how much I eat for breakfast, as long as it's healthy. It's the most important meal of the day; and I have the entire day to burn the food I have consumed.
I had homemade sandwich for lunch: cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, low-fat cheese, and some left over minced beef.

I only worked for 20 minutes on the elliptical trainer, but I'm glad to have lost 400 calories :) I can't believe I can cover 6 km in less than 30 minutes. If only the weather outside was pleasant, I would definitely go cycling. By the time I got off the trainer to take this photo, the speed counter went 0.00, of course, hehe. But I maintained a constant speed of 17 - not too fast.
Looking forward to a great and healthy week number 4!
