I looked into the eyes of temptation (eating more for the rest of the night) and I came out victorious. I didn't eat anything else after the booboo and just drank water with crystal light...I feel sooo much better now. I even researched and found a chicken wings recipe from weight watcher's worth 6.5 points per serving:) I goes as follows:
Buffalo Chicken Wings
Make these wings just as hot as you like by adjusting the amount of hot pepper sauce. Hot fruit sauce, such as PickaPeppaÒ sauce, is available in many supermarkets and gourmet stores; if you can't find it, substitute aromatic bitters.
Makes 4 servings
• 2 tablespoons hot fruit sauce • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste • 1 tablespoon 1 teaspoon corn oil • 2 pounds 4 ounces roaster chicken-wing drumsticks, skinned* • 1/2 cup skim buttermilk • 1 1/2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper • 8 medium celery stalks, cut into sticks
1. Preheat oven to 450° F. Line large baking sheet with foil; spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In medium bowl, combine hot fruit sauce, hot pepper sauce and oil; add chicken, tossing to coat thoroughly. Place chicken in a single layer on prepared baking sheet, reserving any remaining hot pepper sauce mixture. Bake 15–20 minutes, turning once, until chicken is cooked through and lightly browned, basting occasionally with reserved hot pepper sauce mixture.
3. While chicken is baking, in small bowl, combine buttermilk, blue cheese and black pepper. Serve hot chicken wings and celery sticks with buttermilk mixture as a dip.

*Roaster chicken wings, with the drumstick portion already separated from the lower part of the wing, are available in the meat section of the supermarket. Freeze the lower part to have on hand when making chicken broth. Recipe from Weight Watchers Slim Ways Chicken
Well...where there are highs there are lows...it's not that bad...BUT... I'm still upset. I ate two chicken wings from the supermarket deli thinking I was safe only to find out that they are 3 pts each....now this stupidity leaves me with 2.5 pts ...I'm so upset. It's only eight oclock...I will not go over my points though and I will be strong:( It is just so hard.....grrrrrr
I went to the gym today and weighed myself for the first time since I started weight watchers and...I LOST 5.5LBS....Just when I thought there wasn't going to be a change on the scale ...I was pleasantly suprised....I'm so excited and this week Im going to work twice as hard:)
Not only am I studying and following the rigid academic standards of my mind...but I am also following the rigid standards of WW. Now, I must begin with a list of positives...today my supervisor bought everyone a medium hot chocolate from Tim Hortons as well as a never ending supply of bagels with pineapple cream cheese...What did I do? I poured the hot chocolate down the drain (rolled up the rim incase I won a car hee..hee) and ignored the bagel, while giving those little dough- devils (aka bagels) dirty looks throughout my lunch period. I took out my modest WW 2 point lean turkey MINI sandwich, accompanied it with an even more mini...even baby yogurt cup and drank water:) Moving on to this evening...just when you thought it was all over... I made the ball roll further...I came home ate two wonderful vegetable packed meals, with the right amount of proteins and carbs, and drank plenty of water. The real test is as follows...during my exam study period which is supposed to be taking place right now, I grabbed 2 fruits instead of other fatty foods and have 1.5 points to spare for tomorrow!!! After my exam I am cashing all my extra points in... BABY YEAH!!!! So there you have it...I am on a roll AND those 15lbs are going to be lost FOREVA!!!
It is almost time to work...I woke up sooo early and had a 5 point breakfast. It was pretty good : egg, 2pcs ww toast, an orange and a coffee, only 5 points and then for lunch I only have 4 points...Smarter shopping means less points, but higher quality. I have to my presentation today... which sucks badly!!! I have to go for now and report into my food log..TODAY = SERIOUS STUDY TIME...my exam is tomorrow :(
I had a very awful driving experience that made me rage and act like a total psycho!!! I am not a very experienced driver and I had to go pick someone up...after making many mistakes going down the wrong roads, not being able to park....the person refused to get in the car because of the long wait. I was really upset...it may not seem that significant in retrospect but it was at the time. The good part is before all of this I managed to get some goodies : sugar free werther's originals, small vanila ice cream cones and little banana yogurt cup.... yummm My driving skills may not be good but at least my sweet tooth is being satisfied!!! I have a presentation at work tomorrow that I am a little nervous about , but I got to do it !!!! So I will get my pres. planned out tonight and study for my exam:)
Today I slept in, but I started my day off quite nicely!!! I ate an egg salad sandwich which I wasn't quite sure of the points value, but it was worth it since it had other good ingredients in the filling...(it had ham and lettuce) It wasn't my creation it was my bf's mother's and it was dammmnnn good!!! I gave myself about 6 points for the sandwich and ate an apple. Today I have to study so I think I'm going to get around to that, but I may stop off at Sobey's and buy some weight watcher's friendly snacks:) If anyone has any great ideas for Weight Watcher friendly desserts that can be bought in Toronto please let me know...Healthier alternatives to hagen daz???
I just experimented with a Weight Watchers recipe and am quite pleased with the oucome!! It was the potato pancakes and I roasted a turkey breast. I also ate salad and a medley of corn and various mixed veggies. In total a 2oz piece of turkey w/ 2 potato pancakes, 11/2 cups of mixed veggies with corn and a plain salad with lettuce, peppers and tomato came to 51/2 points!!! I have been drinking plenty of water today...I am quite happy!!
Ok food is on my mind...and I am not studying for my exam...this is very very bad...I'm going to go exercise, which I think is the best option... Maybe I will cook my evening meal and then I will exercise....woohoo...PS I have changed my goal date to two months rather than 3months:)
Ok, so here I will begin with my daily diary. In the hopes that it will be therapeutic as well as successful. I'm hoping to reach my goal in about 3 months and that is giving me plenty of time! I am doing the weight watchers point system and I am consuming 20-23 points per day. It is quite hard to count and monitor everything I put in my mouth, but it will be well worth it when I can wear bikini. I was sick for the past 4 days and therefore have missed 2 gym sessions...I am quite upset but what can I do since I am sick? I will get back on track with the physical fitness aspect next week. As long as I don't kill my eating habits I will be fine!!! I have tons to study for an upcoming exam, which also means I'm going to want to snack a lot, but I will handle it:)
