A Small gain...

So, I gained 1/2 pound this week, but I knew it did. Broccoli cheese soup, chicken enchiladas, dessert night with friends and not working out much this week....all causes and I knew it! 

What has it given me?  A renewed interest in exercise. 
Wed I walked 2 miles on the treadmill
Thursday Walked 45 minutes with a friend
Friday Walked 2 miles with stroller
Saturday  - did 50 minutes on the Wii of yoga, balance, and strength training...feeling it in my back today, but know it was good for me! 

Plan for rest of week:

Sunday - walk on treadmill or with stroller
Monday - Yoga/Strength training on Wii
Tuesday - Walk on treadmill or with stroller
Wednesday - Yoga/Strength training on Wii
Thursday - walk in town with friends 3-4 miles. 

I may gain next week, since I'm building muscle, but I'm okay with that! 

Also...doctor told me this week to eat at least 1500 calories a day (I had been on approximately 1300 a day) to make the fertility meds more effective.  So I'm on  a maintenance schedule for now. 

If we get pregnant this month we'll be due July 10th, 2009!! 
My brother's wedding is August 15th next year. 

1 more pound gone...and not fertile myrtle

Well, even through the temptation of snack mix (chex, goldfish, craisins, m&m's) was terrible everytime I was walked by the bag this weekend (yes I had a handful every time).... I still lost a pound this time.  That means 28 pounds to go to goal.

This has been a very frustrating week emotionally, so the weight loss if definately a bonus.  I found out this week from my OB/G that I'm not ovulating at all...possible causes...only being off the pill for 3 months, delivery issues with my son 2 years ago, and/or extreme weight loss (like 56# in 7 months?!?!).  So it's been a rough week.  I have an appointment next week to find out what our options are.  So much for a June baby! 

Trying not to let it get me down and certainly not let it force me into emotional eating!  Hopefully a better week coming up!

I Bought Size 10 Jeans!!!!!

So, I needed some jeans to wear to work and lo and behold all of mine are too loose!  I found a couple pair at Walmart today, $35 for 2 pair of jeans...they are both size 10!!!!  Now, they're stretch 10's so probably more like 12's, but a month ago, I was buying stretch 12's in jeans! 

Only 29 pounds to go to my ultimate goal weight!!! 

Lost 2.2# this week and I've lost 55 pounds total. 
My mini goal was 185 by Sept 30th and I made it with 1.5 weeks to spare!

If I lose 6 more pounds, I'll start my second pregnancy 50 pounds lighter than my first! 

And...I am officially not OBESE anymore...just overweight!

Finally! 50 pounds!

Well, I lost 3 pounds on my own before I started attending WW.  This week, I finally made it to 50 pounds lost officially on WW.  That means I'll get my 50 pound weight washer to go on my keychain. 

It also means, I've kinda made my personal mini goal...I wanted to lose 50 pounds as least before getting pregnant again. 

If I lose 1 more pound, I'll be considered "overweight" instead of "obese"!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait! 

I'd like to eventually get down to 150 or so, but we're already trying for baby #2, so my final weight goal will be a ways off.  It's been fun already shopping for some new smaller maternity clothes to wear next time. 

Right now, I am 43 pounds lighter than I was when I got pregnant with my son.  I am hoping for a much healthier pregnancy this time around. 

Gained a pounds!

Well, we had a really nice date Saturday night and had great garden nachos at this place in town...hadn't had nachos in 6 months, so they were good. 

Had Chinese last night...salty food the night before weigh in!!

And, it's that TOM, so I gained a pound this week. 

No biggie, I'll make it my goal to at least lose that 1 pound next week plus a little more! 

A week of not working out

So, last Wednesday, I hurt my toe and haven't been able to wear my tennis shoes to walk all week.  I did lost 2.6# this week, but it leaves me wondering if part of that loss is just muscle loss....oh well! 

School starts next week (we had teacher days this week).  I had forgotten how busy I am during the school year.  So, I'm not going to kill myself trying to get a  major workout in every day!

My workout goals for this week:

- 3 days of some serious 45 min or more cardio

- Try to do Wii Fit most other days for 1/2 hour and get some yoga and strength stuff in.

Total lost so far...51.8#

It was a great motivator this week to have so many people comment on how thin I am getting (many hadn't seen me in 2 or 3 months). 

Well, off to go grocery shopping and stock up on healthy stuff since today is payday!   

Another small LOSS

Well, I lost 0.6 this week, another small loss, but I'll take it.  I am 0.8 pounds away from 50# total lost!  What a feeling, the time has flown by! 

Things to work on:  More cardio!  Less days of endless snacking. 

Try to not eat my AP's this week and only eat 10 of my weekly extra points.  I've been getting too liberal with those lately and I know that I will have a few tricky days next week. 

 

Small loss...

Well, a small loss  (we weighed in at lunch time).   0.2 pounds, but I'll take it!  I know I did a much better job of exercising this week (I can feel it in my thighs). 

I did the Wii fit tonight for over a half hour and  I could definately feel it.  I did a mixture of yoga, strength, balance, and aerobic stuff, and my heart rate was up several times.  I think I'll really enjoy using it! 

This week's goals:

- Watch the days I over ate last time...plan ahead better, and If I don't have the points left...eat some tomatoes or other zero pt veggies.

- Workout most days with a mixture of walking. jogging and wii stuff.

- Watch my eating at a family get together on Saturday and don't go overboard! 

Exercising the week away!

Well, I said I wanted to get back on the exercise this week...who knew I'd be so sore after taking just a week off! 

Good news, I did finally get a wii and wii fit yesterday, so I have some other activities besides walking to mix it up with. 

So far this week I've....

walked 2 miles on Friday

walked 3.1 miles on Sunday

walked 2 miles on Monday (stroller)

walked 4 .2 miles Tuesday  night

So, it's been a good workout week, I know I'll be bummed if I have a gain this week (from building up muscle). But I can definitely feel it in my legs, so I know it's all for good! 

 

2nd 10%!!!!

Well, tonight, I made my 2nd 10%.  I've lost a total of 48 pounds since I started this journey in late February. 

It's hard to believe that 50# is right around the corner!  I didn't do a great job of working out this week.  I did some major gardening on Friday and Saturday and walked for 35 minutes on Tuesday on the treadmill.  But I still lost 2.4#.  Back on schedule for working out this week!
