Hiatus
Yes I’ve been gone awhile, probably with little notice. Since I’ve last written, I had two “PT” (physical therapy) sessions, and have begun a series of daily at-home exercises, too. PT is ok, it’s basically the cross-training that everyone said I should have been doing but never did in the past. My PT trainer said it’s ok to try a short run this weekend (turning into this week), a few miles. She said that if I’m feeling up to it, go ahead and run the 5K I’m scheduled to run on this coming Thursday evening. We shall see. I'm cautiously optimistic.
In other breaking news: I GOT A BIKE!!!!!! YES!!!! It was the hubby’s birthday and he’s been wanting a bike, so I got him one, AND me one. They’re not matching, but they are similar in style.

Lucky!!
I guess thats how I'm going to have to about it: get DH and I both a bike for his birthday!! I mean, so far, asking for a bike for Christmas, Mothers Day, & our anniversary hasn't worked....I have 2 bikes already but I hate both of them. Their really, really old and I want a pretty new one!!! I should just go out buy it. Whats he gonna do? LOL
I'm glad your knee is holding up!!! Its gotta be pretty dang hot in Chicago!!! My running has been non-existent. I ran 2 miles last Tuesday.....I might try to go tonight if it ever cools off and try again in the mornng, too, before it heats up. Its so hard to get back into it once you take a break!!! Ugh.
Thanks for the compliment on my pic. I was secretly hoping to be flashed up on the screen!!! I'm gonna get me an Angels tank just like my Dodgers one. I might even get the Giants one! You're gonna look great in your White Sox shirt! Be sure to take a pic!!!
