Place: lakefront, 66

Mileage: 3.12

Time It Took: 35:00

Miles this month: 14.22

2008 Goal:  391.79/1000 miles

Thoughts/Comments:  So I made it up early...at first, for some weird reason, the thought of doing 4 miles seemed unbearable.  Rather than rolling over in bed I said to myself "Self, just do 3 miles...do whatever...but you can't just stay in bed."  So I got out there and put in a little over 3 miles.  I was hurtin.  Not in a bad way, just in a "dangit, running isn't easy" kinda way.  And 3 miles is better than NONE.

I just realized that later this week I'll hit the 400 mark.  Woo-hoo!

Nice Run Buddy!

Glad to see you get out of bed and take care of business!!!!

I was back at WW before I left for my trips recently and lost 2lbs  Which is more than I've lost without it! So I will be back at my meetings once I return!

Lindy, I wish I could do it alone...but I tend to slack off and fail. SO I'm going to bite the bullet and do what it takes for ME to lose this poundage :-)

I'll get back to blogging soon when I return!

400

Yep, you're almost there to 400!  I'm sure you'll pass me once you get into your chicago training.  I saw Spirit of the Marathon again this past weekend and thought of you!

Great job at getting out of bed for that 3 miler.  sometimes it's easier just to get out of bed and out the door than lying in bed making excuses why not to run.

The Light

Lindy are you starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel? I mean you're almost halfway to your goal girlie! I know how that self-talk goes, sometimes it takes so much just to get going and once you're done you're so proud of yourself b/c it was a double fight. Fight to get going, fight to get through it. Nothing beats the feeling of euphoria at the end of a great run/workout and that awesome sense of achievement.**

** I might need you to feed me this statement one day. I'm sure I'll be needing a nice reminder.

Be and do well....

Felecia (yea man, it's hella hot)
