Before After

8 full days

and not one Diet Pepsi.  I'm very proud of myself.  I'm past the point of craving them, but now starting to deal with the habits of particular times of day when a nice cold, fizzy one was in order.  I can't go back, no I can't drink it in moderation.  So far now, this is the only solution.

diet pep

good for you!  it's hard to give up something you like so much especially when it's become habit.  it's like that for me with tequila and wine.  I don't always have to have it but when I do I know I have more than my calories allow for!  But I'm fighting having to give it up cold turkey like you.  I've just been declining the free drinks from the bartender, that's my first step!  and only wine with dinner.

BTW, I'm sure you'll catch up with your milage during your peak marathon training.  I'm just about there, but it's taken me awhile to catch up, and I'm still 7 miles behind.  I was thinking next year I might have my goal as a 365 day running streak.  At least a mile a day for the entire year.  You in?!?

Awesome!!

I'm told soda is a hard habit to break.  Hang in there and eventually you want even want one.  I'm lucky to say that this is not one of my cravings.  I've always been a water drinker, but I do have soda every now and then.  You can do it!!
