Got my Gu.  Got my iPod songs lined up, even added a few new songs.  Got my Garmin charging.  Got my favorite running shirt and socks (yes, I have a pair of favorite socks) washed.  Getting very, VERY nervous.  We leave tomorrow morning, and once we get to Cinci, gotta get my race packet and all.  Anyone interested in following my progress, my bib # is 5337.  You can go to the marathon website and sign up for text updates or check in online...so they say.

I don't know if I"ll be able to check in or post tomorrow, and we'll see what happens after the run.  I will take my laptop, however.

WISH ME LUCK!!!!!

LUCK! LUCK! LUCK!

Wow girl, you just inpired me back into running tomorrow.  I will check in on ya tomorrow.

Ra! Ra! Ra! (my cheerleader impersonation, LOL!)

Best of luck my friend!!!

Relax and have fun!!

Why so nervous? You got this thing down!! You're going to do just fine and I can't wait to hear all about it! Good luck!!

I know, isn't it awesome that my kids are old enough to be dropped off and can fend for themselves for a couple hours?? I love it! And the bonus part is that since my kids are 6 years apart, I have had a built in babysitter for a couple of years now!! And by the time she leaves for college in 2 years , my youngest will be old enough to stay home by herself. However, they are growing up sooooo fast and its sad and scary. At least my 10 year old is still my baby and lets me cuddle with her.

Have fun at the flying pig!!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

Goooooooo Lindy Gooooooooo!

You are ready and you are going to have a blast. Remember to run your pace. Everyone starts off too fast, don't follow them. Drink your water and gatorade and remember to eat. AND most of all...

RELAX AND ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE! This is YOUR day baby!

I am going right now to sign up for text updates and will be following online. When you hit mile 20 I will yell RUN LINDY RUN!

Text

I just signed up for text updates.  so cool!!

"Messages will be sent after the runner reaches the 6.8, 13.1, 19.3, and 25.2 splits and the finish line. "

I know you'll do well, you've done all the preparation.  Just stay calm and enjoy your time out there with the crowd.  Afterwards what always works for me so that I can walk that evening and the next day is: snack and stretch after and get a massage if available at the end.  eat again. then a ice bath or just cold bath at the hotel followed by a hot shower then a long nap followed by a great meal.  then a walk (I usually try to go dancing) in the evening.

Have a great day!  I'll be cheering you on!
