Before After

Weight Watchers Night

I had my 2nd WW weigh in tonight, and I am down 1.8lbs. Not what I was hoping for, but I am not surprised either, as TOM is here. My goal for next week, is to get my 10lb star, which means losing 2.2 lbs. I am also going to track everything this week. I know I can do this!!!!

Rainy Saturday

The weather stinks here today, rainy, cool, windy! I want a warm spring day for my weekend, but no, I get warm spring days Mon-Friday. Really, it is not fair. I am still doing well with my WW program, I do my 2nd weigh in at WW on Monday night, so I need to stay focused. I am aiming for a 3.6lb loss, because that would make it 10lbs with WW. We shall see. I have not been doing any exercise since starting WW. I am just way too busy right now with school. However, my last day fo clsses is May 11, and then there will be no more excuses on the exercise front. I can do this.......

Almost gave into temptation

Today was a day of testing willpower. At about noon today, I had an extreme urge to binge. Thoughts of pizza, fast food, pasta and chocolate werer filling my head. The temptation was getting the best of me as I headed towards our local fast food "strip." I was about to give in to the hunger, when at the last possible second, I realized what I was doing. And instead, went to a pita place, and bought a low fat chicken breast pita wrap. Which was only 8 points according to weight watchers. I feel pretty good about myself for this, I am expecting TOM tomorrow so that may be partly to blame for my urge, who knows. Anyway, I am still looking forward to my Weigh In on Monday. Cheers friends!

First Weight Watchers Weight in

Well I successfully completed my first week on the WW program, and weighed in last night. I had great results, with a 6.4 lb loss! I was very excited. I am aiming for my 10 lbs mark by next week, becasue that would just be another 3.6 lbs which is reasonable at this point. I even got my 5 lb star! I can do this! On my weigh!

Checking in

It's Saturday, and I am doing well staying on WW, and sticking to my points. I weigh in on Tuesday, and I am hoping to be down 4lbs, as it ismy first week back. I recentley read "The Secret", so I am now using the 'law of attraction' to help me lose weight. I know I will lose weight and get back in shape. Still working towards my 1st mini-goal, to lose 25lbs by graduation. We can all do this. Cheers

Back at it

I have been away from EP for a couple of weeks, which in weight loss terms means "gaining." However, I have dusted off the old "tracker", and decided to re-join Weight Watchers. Doing this thing on my own, was just not working for me, I guess I really need the accountibility. So I joined yesterday, and of course, as expected I am up. My graduation is 8 weeks away, so I am declaring a personal mini-goal for myself to lose 25 lbs by my graduation, on June 18. Here Goes! Cheers

Back to the Cold!

What a great time! DH and I just spent a great week in the Dominican Republic, weather 85 and sunny everyday! It was much needed, after the hectic year with school, work 2 kids under 4 etc! Anyway, we had a wonderful time, and back to class tomorrrow. On the diet front, I did not do too bad while we were away, the plentiful fresh fruits really saved me. I weighed in this morning, and was up 1 pound, which is pretty awesome for me on vacation. As I have had some vacations where I have managaged to put on as much as 7 lbs in one week away! So I feeling pretty good, and happy to get back on track with the diet/exercise, and resume my regualar weigh-in on Friday! It looks like lots of you are doing awesome! Keep it up, I plan to join you! Cheers

Weekends are tough

I have come to realize that is is much harder to do "this", during the weekends.  Why is it that almost all social activities seem to either centre on food, or end with food?  I managed to resist most temptation this weekend.  The only thing I can say I probably should not have eaten was lasagna last night for dinner, as it was full of cheese, and very salty.  Otherwise I have done very well.

I also went to the gym both days this weekend, Sat and Sun.  Today I did my usual 40 mins of cardio.........for 450 cals burned.  So I am feeling pretty good about everything.  I really want to make my 3 pound loss by Friday's weigh in.

Cheers Friends!

Sunny Saturday

It's is a glorious spring day here! Kids are out playing with DH enjoying the sunshine. I went to the gym earlier this morning, it's still hard to get there every day. But it is getting easier once I am there, it's not as hard to do as it was at first. Which is a good sign I am sure. Just like each other time I tried this diet/exercise thing, it does work, it's always just a matter of longevity. So I pray that a year from now I am still, eating right, exercising, and blogging. If thats the case I know I will be at or near my goal weight. I am setting my goal for next weeks weigh in at 3.0 lb loss. Enjoy your weekend friends!

Weigh in # 2

Today was my second weigh in, and I am down 4.4 lbs!  I am very excited about it, as I worked so hard all week, and lots of exercise too (5/7 days at the gym).  I am motivated to keep it up, I went to get through the '80s' by the end of April!

Now I need to motivate myself to be "good" this weekend which is always challenging for me.  But it's important to me, so I just have to keep that in mind when I am tempted.

Have a great day everyone!
