I'm so mad.....

at my DS's school, can they organise something for the kids, AND NOT CANCEL FOR ONCE.......aaaarghhh, very annoying. I know it can't be avoided sometimes, but my DS, 4 was sooooo happy about the bicycle race they had planned for today, you should have seen him on his bike this a.m....only to reach there and the teacher says it's cancelled....poor boy. He's been waiting for this day for so long......"you need to sleep only 4 more times, then it's finally Friday" and the weather was just perfect...... It's not the teacher's fault though, it's  the "organiser" whoever she is....

Anyway, i'll take them for a ride and a picnic to console him, later on.

Other than that, i'm kinda stressed that DH is rarely home, he's busy with the house building and his job and i'm home with the 3 kids, but we have to go through it. 

Weightweise, i'm happy, i lost again this morning.....wuhuuuuu!

Today, we're having a beautiful day, with summer temperatures in Fall-----over 80 F (28 degrees). We'll probably take a walk when the kids come back from school.

Yesterday, at the park, i met a lady who has her son at the same kindergarten as my DS, they are good friends. We started talking and she complimented me on my WL.....wuhuuu. She's would also like to lose weight and had started walking before he hols, but fall off the wagon during the hols. Anyway, i told her, if she needs a walking buddy, we could walk together after dropping the kids to school....i would just need to organise myself and bring DD to daycare for a few hours, currently, i take her 4 hours a week. She just turned 2 end of July, and everyone is asking "Is she in Kindergarten yet?".......In France they can start as early as 2 years.....i find it too early....she's still my baby.......

It fits, it fits.....yay!

I decided to try the jeans i always talk about, that i last wore in 2003, before getting pregnant with DD, now 26 months. I was kinda scared to do so, coz that time i was in the 140's......BUT wow, it fits....ok, it's still a little tight, but looks ok. So, i'll probably wear it to the party. I just need a nice top.

I'm still steady, at 158.98 lbs, 10 days left to meet my end of September goal 156.56 lbs, that's 2.42 lbs to go!

I've been slacking with exercising, in the last week. The weather & the kids being back to school, hasn't allowed us to take our usual walks. But i've been pretty active, decluttering, walking to & fro, taking/picking kids from school. We live in an appartment 5th floor, with no elavator....... so on a day like yesterday, i was like 7 times up & down, THAT COUNTS AS A WORKOUT....doesn't it? Can't wait to move to the house!

One more reason

My girlfiend called me yesterday. They own a restuarant and have been searching for a buyer for quite sometime. Now, they finally sold it to their cook and his girlfriend. She had mixed feelings, coz they've owned it 15 years and she's scared to start fresh...she wants to go to beauty/cosmetic school and open a beauty shop. Anyhow, there's a farewell/ welcome party on the 6th of October. So, there's one more reason to keep this going. Will i be able to fit in my best jeans then? I sure hope so, coz the rest of my stuff isn't looking good on me.

Still steady at 158.98 lbs this morning. Hoping to lose atleast 5 lbs by then, for that jeans to look great!

Extraordinary Birthdays

Today, my two sisters celebrate their birthdays, the first born turns 36 ( birth date 17.09.70) and the last born turns 26 (birth date 17.09.80). It sounds like planned, but it really wasn't, it's really extraordinary, coz those births were natural..no scheduled  C-section, induction or anything. My mum was 20 when she got the first kid, 10 years later, same day she delivered her last born-------- 10 years, 5 kids, 4 girls,1 boy....in the middle ofcourse! Talk about perfect family planning, lol!

Pamper your feet

...I've kinda neglected my poor feet this summer. From now own, i'll pamper them atleast once a week, after all, they are the ones who carry all this extra weight around....lol!

At-home- spa treatment.

Wet two towels, wring them out thoroughly and heat them in microwave until they are comfortably warm (about 1 minute).Slather your feet in moisurizer or natural oils and wrap first in plastic foil then in warm towels and elevate them for 10 minutes.

The warm oil will nourish the skin and absorb dryness.

 

 

 

Finally....

in ONEFIFTYLAND...wuhuuu. Today, the scale gave me the weight i was wishing for, for the big WI yesterday, needless to say, i'm thrilled to be in the 150's again. I can't believe that i've almost lost  30 lbs...

September Halftime.....

Today, was our first WI date, for the Christmas challenge i had started on 2 message boards.

I've lost a little over 3 lbs, i was hoping for 3.5 lbs, but considering that i was sick, i'm still satisfied. Now i'm working towards losing 4 lbs  by 30 th September to reach my 7 lbs goal. The other ladies have done pretty well, most have lost 4-5 lbs. Yay us!  

Tricky scale

Today, the scale decide to play tricks on me, giving me 3 different weights......159.20 lbs.....160.08 lbs and 160.30 lbs.....I would have LOVED to take the first one, but i won't coz i'll probably be dissappointed soon enough. So i took the 160.30 lbs which is still very good.

Yesterday, was such a stressful day for me and i probably didn't eat enough. Hoping to have a better one today.

today. Thanks for the well wishes....

So ofcourse, i didn't walk the 2 days, except for taking/picking kids to & from school/daycare and shopping. Eating was ok.

So this morning, i weighed in at 160.57 lbs....wuhuuuu. I want it to stay that way or move towards the 150's so I'll probably do some walking today, we still have beautiful weather....so that's great.
