Healthy foods
Yesterday, i stocked up my pantry with Spelt flakes ( i love them for breakfast), flaxseeds, whole wheat rye flour, whole wheat spelt flour, spelt grains and rye grains.
I want to start baking with whole wheat flours for the whole family. Will bake some muffins later on.
I made a nice lunch today. DS has an assignment for their healthy eating lessons, to note down all his meals today. So his lunch was, panaded turkey breast steaks with boiled potatoes tossed in butter and green beans. Dessert: white cheese. My version, turkey breast in a panade of spelt bran & wheat germ, green beans and brussel sprouts.

Motivation
After my sensational workout yesterday~~~~40 minutes elliptical ~~~ i feel my motivation to exercise coming back.....yay! I can't wait to workout today, isn't that great?
Today, i weighed in at 158.10 lbs, i had gained a few pounds and had reached over 161 lbs....
, now i'm working towards reaching 157.66 lbs----the weight i was when i started the EP Biggest Loser Challenge and from there try to loose atleast 2-3 lbs for WI on Monday. Wish me luck. I really don't want to let my team down this week.

I love the fact
that brownbabe is pushing me to exercise. I've been having a hard time switching to indoor workouts. I finally started.....thanks Eva, for pushing me!
I plan on doing 1 elliptical workout today (25 mins), then dance tomorrow (30-45 mins)and elliptical again on Saturday (30mins). My sister is finally sending me the indoor walking dvds, so i'm really excited....... can't wait to try them out.
Thanks for all the support, we can do this, i can do this!
PS: no problem with the food, that's an A.
Edited to add: Yeah, i did 40 minutes elliptical, i can't believe i did it that long, but the timer says 40 minutes and it's never wrong. Wuhouuu!

Yessssss!
I FINALLY DID IT! MY ELLIPTICAL WORKOUT. Just 20 minutes, but hey, that's a beginning. I'll gradually increase and maybe one day, i can reach 60 minutes? I'm really happy about that. Yay!

Back home
We're back home after spending the last 3 days in Germany at my girlfriends place. It was a nice weekend in general. Foodwise, i did good on Friday....had carried my dinner. Saturday, we made Chapatis & lentils in coconut sauce.....yummm....i ate way too much. Sunday, i had my oats/weetabix/fruit breakfast then we went to church and ate there....the food was good but very oily, so although i just had 2 meals the whole day, i most likely went over my calories.
For the first time, since i started in May, i didn't reach my goal, end of September goal was 156.56 lbs (71 kgs). Today, i weighed 158.98 lbs, even more than when i started the EP challenge....
But now, i going to get back on track, i'll need to loose atleast 9 lbs this month...3 lbs more than the previous months.
THIS WEEK; I WILL FINALLY GET ON MY ELLIPTICAL-----ATLEAST 3 TIMES----NO EXCUSES!
PS: the restaurant party was pushed to the 13th...will see how much i can loose by then.

Feeling better today
Thanks for listening to me rant yesterday. It was one of those days....and that headache wasn't making it better.
So, i'm feeling much better today, trying to stay positive. I know i need to organise myself better, so that i can have some "me" time to relax....time to get back to Get Organized Now forum...lol!
This evening, i'm going with the kids to my girlfiends place, we stay till Sunday evening. I'm busy packing and i'm not forgeting my snacks and green tea. Just hoping there won't be too many temptations there.
I won't be able to do my WI for the challenges i had joined until Monday. Got to go now. Thanks again for checking on me, i'll get back to you all on Monday.....

Burnout syndrome?
I'm having a MEGA headache since yesterday.
In general, things aren't looking very good......i haven't started working out as planned.....i feel drained. The last months have been very stressfull for me. Starting, February when a home biz i'd started crashed, then followed by March with DS2 getting the kawasaki disease....very frightening time. After that, i started suffering from constant dizzy spells and docs couldn't find out what was wrong. A few months later, a lump was discoverd in my breast, THANK GOD, it turned to be non-cancerous. Then as some of you know, we are building a house this year, so DH is Monday to Friday at the construction site and Saturday & Sunday at his job.....i have the 3 kids alone except when the boys are in school and DD in daycare (4 hours a week). My family lives far away from us, so i don't have any help from that side....infact my mum hasn't even seen DD 26 months yet.........
DH's family, can't help, due to various reasons. Right now, i'm feeling overwhelmed.....

Can i lose 3.3 lbs in 4 days......
A few days ago, i was doing so well and had only 1.5 left to go for this month. Then i decide to relax and what do i learn from that......?
I FINALLY NEED TO GET ON THAT ELLIPTICAL! ORGANISE MY DAY AND FIND THE TIME TO DO A PROPER WORKOUT!

The EP Biggest loser challenge on SweetPeaTwins blog, (see Confessions of a food addict on my friends list) for some extra motivation. Maybe this will motivate me to start exercising seriously again.

Since school started
i've not been really consequent with working out. During the hols, we would go walking/biking almost daily. Currently, after school, the kids prefer to go play at the park, so that's what we do.
But as you might know from my previous posts, i walk to take/pick the kids to/ from school/daycare, morning, lunch and at 4 o'clock, the schools are just 5 minutes away but it all adds up to 30 minutes walk and remember, we live on 5 th floor AND NO LIFT....lol! Anyway, so far it's still working, but i know i should introduce some real exercises to my routine. I just have to organise my day better.....i'm not so great at that.
Today, i'm down to 157.66 lbs, yay!
