Wow!

It really feels good to work out first thing in the morning. Yesterday, i did the Denise Austin's 1& 2 mile Blast away the Pounds and today, i did Winsor'sFat Burning Pilates....i just feel great.

DH is showering me with compliments too..... in addition to the weight loss which has greatly contributed to the "feeling better in my body " confidence, i changed my hairstyle on Friday and he's admiring my new motivation to workout.

My boys are back to school today after the short fall break. Off to cook lunch before it's time to pick them up for lunch.

I've finally added a photo of myself, it's not so clear but it will do for now.

Pilates

I did my first pilates workout ever yesterday, it was tough but fun. I also did 15 mins Power walk & tone from Denise Austin. Morning exercise really makes me feel good, the biggest problem is getting up, but once i do that in good time, then i'm set. Today, i didn't, SIL & kids come over yesterday and we all watched a movie etc, in short, i went to bed late so i didn't get up at 6 a.m. for my workout. BUT i will definately do it this evening.

I'm also thinking of trying tae-bo, anyone tried it?

My new workout plan

Ok, i put it together and hope to stick with it.....Monday, Tuesday done.

  • Monday: Denise Austin's Blast Away the Pounds workout
  • Tuesday: Leslie Sansone's 1&2 mile walk
  • Wednesday: Eliptical workout, 30 minutes minimum
  • Thursday: Winsor's Fat Burning Pilates
  • Friday: Winsor's Max Burn Pilates, Austin' Easy Walk & Power Walk
  • Saturday: Leslie Sanson's 1&2 mile walk
  • Sunday: FREE

Edited to add: yay! i did my eliptical workout, a whole 36 minutes. And, i haven't touched the halloween candy! Wohooo!

 

Skinnyland.....here, i come

I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning and did the Denise Austin's Blast away the pounds, 3 miles. I feel great. I'm going to put a workout plan together and put it in here later on. My motivation is back and if i stick to my plan and continue eating well, then November will be a good month for me. Skinnyland, make space for one more....here, i come.....!!!!!

Wohooooo!

Yeeeessss! I did it!

 If you read my last post you know that the workout dvds i had been waiting for like forever, finally came but wouldn't play......even on the US player i bought at the base. So, anyway, i spent a long time on the net last night and this morning i was able to unlock my european dvd player to read dvds from all regions. Yay! I'm i a hacker now? Lol! I'm so happy, now i can finally start. Tomorrow is the big day.

It seems Mr. Motivation is back, especially after seeing 69.9 kgs on my scale this morning.....yay, the last time i was there was 3 years ago.

Yay and buuuu!

First the good news, i got my dvds:

  • Leslie Sansone ( In-Home Walking for Weight Loss) 1&2 miles
  • Denise Austin (Blast Away the Pounds (3 complete 1 mile programs)
  • Mari Winsor Pilates

and some other goodies from the US.

Now, the bad news, they won't play......... I knew the woudn't play on our dvd player, French system so i bought a dvd player at the US army base.....but they aren't playing.....WTF???

Anyway, i hope to sort that out soon, maybe DH can save the situation..........i was so excited about starting to work out with them......double

btw, i weighed 70 kgs this morning......that's 154.34 lbs...finally!

I want you back

Dear Mr. Motivation,

i need you, i want you back.

I was reading this about walking today, " Walking builds long, lean muscle rather than bulky muscle. This muscle burns calories, all of the time, day & night, even when you sleep." Doesn't that sounds cool? My walking dvds are here on Friday, so i'm counting on you!!

Bad Month

October has been such a bad month as far as my weight loss is concerned, it actually started end of September, with not reaching my goal.

I know i have to act now, being in the "comfort zone" is dangerous and can quickly lead to backsliding. By comfort zone, i mean, i have reached a weight, in which i feel ok, BUT i know i'm not done yet, so i need to get back on that wagon, the exercise one, real quick.

I'm happy to say that i don't have big problems with the eating part. I eat pretty healthy and rarely take an off. I haven't even introduced the free day yet.,,,,yay!

My biggest problem is the exercising. The summer went really well with me combining my walking sessions with the kids bike riding, a little elliptical and aerobics/dance here and there. With the end of summer and the kids back to school, the walks reduced and i can't seem to be able to get on the elliptical more than twice a week....obviously too little. So i ordered some Leslie Sansone indoor walking dvds, which i'm picking on Friday, and i'm hoping they bring with them, my workout motivation.

 

 

 

Wuhuu

My parcel from the US has finally arrived, in it, among others my workout dvds......BUT i still have to pick them up from Germany. I used a friend's address whose husband is in the army, so postage counts like in the US....shipping from US to Europe is expensive and the customs taxes top it up.

Anyway, the kids have their fall break starting Wednesday, so we'll probably pick them up around that time. Can't wait to finally get them and start working with them.
