I'm still working on shedding the post holiday pounds, the eating part is ok, but i have to get back to exercising. I never seem to get time to do it during the day, as usual, so i have to start doing it first thing in the morning before the kids and DH are awake.

So, my plan for next week is to work out in a.m. and start using my pedometer again with a daily goal of 10,000 steps.

Good luck everyone else...we can do this.....

Goals 2007

I decided to put some of my goals for 2007 in here:

  • Continue with my WL journey and reach goal before the 1 year anniversary, which will be end of May.
  • Execise regularly
  • Eat right but have a free day in the week.
  • Read the bible daily. ( i registered for a ReadTheBibleInAYear  program)
  • Declutter the appartment in order to have the least stressfull move into the house, that's in about 4-5 months.... wohooo! 
  • Organise my daily life in order to have more "ME time" "Kids time" and "Hubby time".
  • Start reading for an exam.

PS: I changed my goal weight to 60kgs (132.30 lbs)

Time to get back

Happy New Year to all.

It's high time for me to get back on the wagon. I decided to take a break over the hols...eating everything and not exercising. The damage is visible on the scale but i'm planning to get back on plan from tomorrow and lose the gained pounds.

All in all, i'm very proud of what i achieved in 2006. I got loads of compliments," You look great", "how did you it?" & "continue that way."

My plan for the next 2-3 months is to reach my goal weight and then work on maintaining.

So, i'm back.....starting tomorrow, with a mini-detox.

 

Christmas aftermath

The Christmas feasting is over. I took it really easy and ate everything. Christmas eve morning, i was at my lowest weight in years......144.43 lbs (65.5 kgs). On the 26th morning i was at 146.19 lbs and today i was at 145.31 lbs, i'm still surprised i didn't gain more. I'm planning a mini detox today and tomorrow. Meaning i'll eat mainly fruits, vegetables and a protein shake or two and lots of herbal tea and water.

We'll be having a few guests on New Years Eve.....still don't know what i'm making but i won't eat as much as i did at Christmas.

Yeah

It's 23rd December and i made my mini-goal to hit the 40 pound loss mark, yes! I would have loved to finish the year at goal, but i think still i've done pretty good....40 pounds in 7 months....and i'm proud of myself.

I'm planning to take it a bit easy during the holidays, hopefully not so much damage will be done...

Anyways, i don't think there's much going on in here, but for those who read this post, i'm wishing you a very merry christmas, enjoy the time with your loved ones!

Almost there....

I've disowned my blog in the last days, but i'm still here, like many others, i got caught in the Christmas rush a little and i still have plenty to do this week. But the good thing is we won't be having guests this time, so that's less work.

I'm still losing slowly though i've not been exercising at all...., but i get my usual 10,000 steps or more in dailyand the eating is good except for an exeptional cookie here and there....

I just have 1.2 lbs to go to meet my mini-goal, hoping to make it before Christmas, so that i hit that 40 pound mark.

Today's list

10 days to Christmas. All the things on the list below are done already....wohooo! Yesterday, i did some shopping and sent away the cards. Now to today's list:

  • Wrap remaining gifts
  • Do laundry
  • Clean refridgerator/freezer

I was looking at some old calendars and came across the 2002 & 2003 ones.....in 2002 i got my DS2 in Jan, then got pregant again in August with twins but lost them in September. In October, i decided to start a WL journey and had lost a lot of weight by December. I gained something like 4 lbs over Christmas, but was back on track by 4th Jan 2003.(to be continued).... 

Christmas countdown!

Only 13 days to Christmas. Is everything ready? NO!!! I always think i have so much time left and i shake my head at those who start their preparations in October....now guess who's always running around the last minute...

From today, i'll try and do atleast 3 things daily:

12 th December

  • Write Christmas cards
  • Wrap gifts
  • Pick pictures to send to family

2.1 to go!

Last Friday, we had a Christmas party & market in DS's Kindergarten. I made a cake....or rather 3 cakes but just took 1 coz the other 2 weren't perfect.... Needless to say, i had too much cake on Thursday & Friday....i hadn't had cake since August. So yesterday, i decided to do my raw food detox again it went really well, even with the cookie baking evening with the kids. Which reminds me, i have to make me some diet friendly cookies later on.

Anyway, now have 2.1 pounds to go to reach my mini-goal....2 weeks to Christmas. I need get back to working out regularly, though, i haven't being doing that in the last weeks..

2.8 lbs to go!

After the detox, i was afraid i'd gain all the lost pounds back. It's 2 weeks since the detox, so far, it's not happened, although i haven't been exercising regularly. But i'm still eating well and walking an average of 10,000 steps daily. I currently have 2.8 lbs to go, to reach the 40 lb mark......hopefully i can get there before Christmas.....2 1/2 weeks to Christmas......i think i can!
