I've learned my lesson!

NO DAILY WEIGHING FOR ME ANYMORE!

I need to be more patient with myself----the body needs time to adjust. I didn't stick to my eating plan on saturday....but i didn't eat cake....yay! So i come home and Sunday morning what do i do? Step on the scale......what did i expect?

 

A new record!

This morning i woke up with Dh  at 4.30, after preparing his breakfast., i did my workout......7 MINUTES...yay...i've never being so active at 5am. I think i'll dp some rope skipping today too,i hope the neighbours don't mind :) i was just reading on aforum where the ladies are having good results...and i know it works....my mum says, if you need to loose, all you need is skip rope.

The kids are invited to a birthday bash this afternoon....hope there will be no temptations there...or rather hope i will be able to resist.

Today was good!

coz

  • i lost a bit after being stuck since 4th
  • i got a call saying my results of the biopsy are positive---THANKS TO GOD!
  • i stuck to my eating plan and had lots of salad & veggies
  • i started working out----A  WHOLEMINUTES :) on the ellp. and did some walking.

Back home

from Strasbourg, one hours drive away, i had a biopsy done today coz a lump was found on my left breast last week. Radiologist & gynacologist say it isn't cancerous....praying the results say the same.....i get them in a week.

Otherwise, the day was beautiful today, sunny...yay summer's coming. Foodwise, i didn't quite stick to my plan....had turkey sandwich and a tuna pie...i had packed a picnic. The kids and hubby had fast food last week so that's enough for the month :)

I discovered a cute shop "eurodif".....so i chose myself a some silk pyjamas, a handbag and some earings....mothers day gifts from hubby and the kids. I took a size 18 pyjama instead of 16 coz i always have problems with trousers being way too tight and the tops too large...aargh, i HATE shopping here, the sizes here are really tiny if you shop in a normal shop....and shops for bigger sizes are so rare and expensive. So anyhow i took an 18 but its STILL tight.....so i have too loose some more before i can wear it.

I'm happy...

about being  a very good gal the whole prolonged weekend. I stuck to my eating plan and even resisted the cookies we baked yesterday...yay.

I made a delicious mediterenian salad for dinner....it was really good.....cucumbers,tomatoes,green olives and feta cheese... a simple dressing with a bit of mustard.....mmmm :)

I  did the weeks shopping this morning, lots fruits&veggies.

Just need to get some wholemeal stuff for myself later this week.

Yay!

....i resisted the temptations from our movie evening yesterday....ok...i had 2 or 3 popcorn...but that's all :)

Other than that, my weight was still the same as yesterday. I have to stop stepping on the scale daily and do like it once a week like most ppl in here.

 I desperately need breakie ideas.....today i had oats yoghurt & fruit (pineapple).Off to make lunch now.....zuchinos for me again :(  i really need to shop.

Temptations, temptations.....

We just had dinner.......the macoronnis with tomato&aubergine sauce and cheese i made hubby and the kids was really tempting, but i'm still strong....had to go with zuchinos& fried eggs. Now i'm brewing my herbal tea my sis recommended.....she was taking this stuff and lost so much weight that was looking too skinny,so she stopped. Hoping it will work for me too.

We are having a family movie evening afterwards.......crisps, coke&co are waiting to tempt me.....hope i'll be able to stick to my apples&water......I think i'll get me some healthy snacks next week, getting fed up with fruit all the time.

My journey to a healthier, lighter ME!

I've being going through some tough times in the last weeks and a weightloss challenge i had began in March was quickly forgetten. I knew i had taken weight.....but i was absolutely shocked when i decided to finally weigh myself on the 30 May.....84.6 kgs......(that's roughly double in pounds).I decided to take action immedietly....but due to some health problems i'm facing right now, i will not be able to exercise just yet. But starting by changing my eating habits will do for a start.

I started doing food combining on May 30......carbs&veggies OR proteins&veggies in ONE meal. This works quite well for me since i have the kids and hubby to cook for too. So i just make the same food for them and combine my meal at the table. I've cut out ALL sugars, unhealthy snacks like crisps etc, ....this is hard:(

When i need to snack i have fresh fruit or fromage blanc, so i don't go hungry. I also drink lots of water and green or herbal tea.

It's working wonders----so far, i've lost 3.5kgs in 6 days....i'm OVERJOYED.
