Weight loss journey review
3 months have now passed, i'm very happy with what i've achieved so far

I'd set goals to loose 3kgs= 6.6 lbs per month and i've managed to meet each goal. In July i did pretty well and managed to loose 8 lbs. My recommended "ideal body weight" lies between 126 lbs and 139 lbs. I plan to reach 143 lbs by November 30th and then see from there, if i need to loose more.
ETA: ok, i think i'll try to get to 136lbs by Christmas, i was looking at my body and i STILL have lots of fat to get rid of! LOL!

Yay!
I weighed 162.95 lbs this morning. I've met my end of August goal which was 74 kgs = 163.17 lbs. I very excited.
Yesterday, i found something priceless.......... a booklet where i had some entries about my successful weight loss journey in 2002. I got my DS2 in January that year, then in August became pregnant again, with twins, but had a miscarriage in September...
. So, anyway, i decided to try loose weight before trying to be pregnant again. I started on October 3rd at around 181lbs. At Christmas i weighed 159.86 lbs....over 20 lbs lost. And in May 2003 i was at 154 lbs, in August at 150 lbs. Then in October 2003, i got pregnant with my DD who is now 2.
This a real motivation to continue this journey, only difference, this time i'm NOT coming back....OUT OF HERE; FOR GOOD!

I wonder if
my lack of cravings...well,almost anyway, has to do with the fact that i don't get my periods anymore.......NOOOOO, i'm not pregnant, 3 kids are ENOUGH, hubby has other plans though...lol!
So, anyway, my periods stopped completely a few months ago...2 years after getting a Mirena contraceptive. I asked my Gyno and he said it's ok and happens to 20% of the women with one and the website states the same. I DEFINATELY don't miss them....i'm taking all the extra benefits possible...lol!
This morning i was at 162.51 lbs....super, i'm nearing the 150's, very excited about it.

We had a family movie
evening last night, DS1 asked for King Kong. It was a really nice evening. We had dinner inbetween the movie since it was a lengthy one at 3 hours.
We also shopped for the remaining school stuff earlier on, so now we just have to label and pack up everything, ready for Monday.

Down
to 162.95 lbs this morning, will work hard to keep it that way until Thursday----that's my official end of August goal WI date.
Me and the kids went walking again yesterday, i really didn't feel like going but the kids had been indoors the whole day.....so the guilt won and afterwards, i was extremely happy that we went out. It did shower a little on us though.
This morning we're going to get the rest of the school stuff as it's the last week at home-----DS small is NOT amused about going back to school, that's not his favourite place....and to make things worse, he has morning & afternoon class...at 41/2 years...
Let me get some work done.

Laziness equals GAIN
i've gained a bit in the last days after slacking with the workout and eating healthy but a little too much. I need to start logging in my food again...it really helps.
Anyway time to get back on track. I have 4 days to loose 0.88 lbs to meet my end of August goal and 9 days to loose 3.52 lbs to meet my dream back to school goal......i probably can't make this one, but the 1st one would be great then i'll still be on plan.
Since i can't depend on this weather anymore, i'm switching from walking to elliptical until i get my Leslie Sansone's Indoor walking dvds.

The bad weather
down here continues, very annoying. I'll start doing my elliptical workout again coz walking isn't fun when it's cold. My sis is buying & sending me some indoor walking dvds, can't wait to try them out.
I was in Germany yesterday to buy the kids some clothes and i got a Mexican food cookbook. The recipes look delicious, temptations, temptations...
I also bought myself a giant mug for my tees. I remember i had one last time i lost lots of weight, it keeps me drinking....with the cold weather, i tend to drink less.
Today for lunch, i made some lentils & chapatis with rye/spelt flour....very nice.

Still doing ok
.....i've been having problems posting in the last days
DS had his birthday on Wednesday, so we went to an amusement park, i had packed food but ended up eating pie, crisps and birthday cake. Anyway, we had a really good time and the weather was wonderful, lucky us. From then, it's just dull and rainy, what a summer. In June we still had heaters on, in July we were ROASTING and now we're running around with pullovers and umbrellas.....
I'm back to 162 lbs after a small rise. I'm dying to get some new clothes, but i still have to wait a bit. My dream jeans in my wardrode will also have to wait until i'm around 154 lbs....8.72 to go!

Finally.... i can post
Camera shopping was fruitless yesterday as DH didn't find something he liked.
We ended up in McD's for lunch, and although i didn't get anything for myself, i ended up eating the half of DD's cheeseburger----155 calories.
I also stocked up on my healthy stuff, Spelt /grains/pasta/breakfast flakes protein, whey protein, wholemeal spaghetti and lentils, a new type.
I also got DS's birthday gifts etc for tomorrow.
This morning the scale gave me a lovely suprise----- 162.73 lbs

I was thinking of doing the fat flush diet as a detox, i'm still reading about it.

Still steady
at 164.05 lbs this morning. We're going out to town this morning to shop for a video camera. Hope we get something nice. Log in later.
