Plateau......???
I just wrote a long post before the site went on maintance and now it's gone.....
and the comments i got yesterday are gone too....
I hope all those who celebrate Thanksgiving had a great one. Here, it's not celebrated, but i had the Thanksgiving feeling, just from reading on the blogs about Turkey, pumpkin pie, pecan pie.....yummmy...i'll definately try make some of those for Christmas.
Today, i'm really frustrated about my WL journey, i have the "i'll never reach goal" feeling again. I hit 160 lbs on the 15th September and today, 24th November...i'm still at 154 lbs....yes....UNBELEIVABLE but true. I guess i've hit a REAL plateau.
Although, i've not been consistent with exercising all the time, i'm still walking everyday and getting in an average of 10,000 steps daily....yesterday, i got an amazing 22,000 steps in, yay!
Foodwise, i've really been an angel. I'm still amazed at my willpower at times, but the temptations are still there, as the home is not free of snacks due to DH & kids, but i never touch them, seriously.....not even the halloween candy......
That's why it's even more depressing. When i make French fries, cream sauce & co, i DON'T even taste....or i taste and spit out.....that's really sick---lol! If we go for fast food, which is really really rare, i only get a cheeseburger or chicken wrap.....300 calories. I'm still religiously eating my wholemeal everything, oatmeal, lentils, grains, fruits & vegetables, lean white meats etc....and i'm definately getting all my water in, if not more...that's all i drink, water and tea.
So, i know this is a plateau.....and it's really frustrating, that's why guys give up!!!
