Non-scale victories

Today, i'll try and reflect on the non-scale victories which show that  i'm going in the right direction even though i'm not happy with the number on the scale.

  • * My size 16 trousers are almost falling off me, this was not so, a few months ago. My sister bought me an 18 last Christmas....this one i can definately not wear anymore.
  • *My favourite jeans are fitting, still a little tight, but they fit.....a few months ago, that was a dream.
  • *I feel lighter, more confident in my body...., yes, even though when i run with the boys, my DS 4 says, mum i know why you can't run fast......" coz you're old and have a big tummy".....
  • *I'm proud of myself for sticking to this lifestyle, especially foodwise....last week, while shopping for a gift for my friend for her party, i took the kids to McD's....AND I DIDN'T HAVE EVEN ONE BITE, even though i was starving....yay!

your doing great!

And what a way to look at things!  You must be tightining and building muscle even though the scale isnt moving like you want!  It has been so hard lately!  You would think with all our practice, we would have this losin thing down by now!! - Shelly

Woohoo!!

Those are awesome victories!  Good for you!

SO proud of you!

It isn't easy to look past the numbers on the scale and see what the weight loss REALLY means - you're ahead of the game in that respect.

You are making efforts daily to keep losing weight and I think you are doing a great job.

Cewl!!

You are running into clothes not fitting problems, that is great. The scale does not always give us number we like but our clothes cannot lie. Excellent work! Keep it up!
