Before After

Healthy pantry

Been busy cleaning up the house and packing/labelling school stuff this weekend. Put the kids to bed at 19:45 so it won't be too difficult to wake up at 7:00 tomorrow morning.

So, back to my title, i cleaned up and re-arranged the pantry yesterday and felt very proud, coz of all the healthy foods in there. We've got quinoa, a mix of red quinoa & bulgur, spelt grains, spelt pasta, brown rice, wholemeal pasta, millet, beans (black, kidney, white & green), lentils (brown, red & green).

At the beginning of my WL journey, i was practicing food combining and was eating mostly proteins and veggies. Then i decided to try more good carbohydrates. Since then, i've been experimenting with the above foods/grains....and i absolutely love them.

Now, off to bed myself.

Happy Labor Day to those in the U.S and Canada.....

good for you

Its always good to try new things.  How will you know what your missing out on if you don't?  Hope the kids have fun in school.  Mine are going to bed earlier all on their own now!  They dont like that early alarm clock ringing in their tired little ears! AWWWW  poor babies!  I am inspired by your cleaning effort.  I think I'll do the same!  Lots of Luck tomorrow - Shelly

Thats awesome!

I finally found a section at a grocery store I don't usually go to that sells spelt!!!!  I am so excited!  They sell all kinds of really awesome healthy stuff I can't wait to give it a try!

Hi!

Hi, Magical3 and thank you for your kind comment!
I red your blog: congrats on the weight lost!
May be I can use some of your successful "tricks": to cut my portions and try to eat just a half may be one...
(I love France!)
