So, by some miracle, I weighed in this morning (my actual weigh in date) and I have met my goal! I am only a week late in meeting my 20% goal, not too shabby!  Here's the new plan:

10% - 283.5 DONE!
20% - 255.0 DONE!
30 % - 229.5
40% - 206.5
50% - 186

My next goal will be 229.5, and I am setting my goal at 2.5 lbs a week (as opposed to 3 lbs a week) and so my goal date is  11 weeks from now,  November 21st. So excited!

A Gain! (Gasp!)

So, I weighed in this morning, and not only did I not lose the .6 lbs I needed to meet my goal, but instead I definitely GAINED 1.4 lbs! Ahhhh! Say whaaa?

This is the first time I've gained in a while, and I'm trying to think of why I might have actually gained this week.

1. Last Thursday I cheated for the very first time in my 4 months of dieting. I had a small popcorn at the movies for my birthday.
2. I've been working out a lot, and I hadn't worked out at all 2 weeks prior. 5 days of toning a day may be building muscle? Mayhaps the number will drop next week.
3. Too many carbs? I don't know though, I really keep that under wraps.

I don't know, but it will come off. Until then, I'm going to just try to make sure to drink A LOT of water and keep to my plan! Hebrews 12:11!

Body, pull it together!

So I weighed in this morning (I checked the scale twice) and it seems that I did not make my goal of 255 this morning! Oh well, it's only .6 lbs that I have to lose, so I'm sure it won't be long till I get to set my next 10% goal! No worries!

The Lord is good, today is a beautiful day here in SC, I got a front row parking lot at work this morning, and it's my birthday! woo hoo!

Tomorrow morning, I need to weigh in one pound less to meet my 20% goal on time! If I don't make it by tomorrow, I won't die, but it would be nice to have successfully met my goal of 3 lbs a week to lose 30 lbs! I'm ready to move on to my new goal! But I get excited about planning it out, so I won't let myself do it until I actually meet my goal, that will keep me motivated!

4 days and 4 lbs to go for my 20% goal!

So I weighed in this morning, and it seems that I've lost 2 lbs since last week, a better number. It is sort of weird that the scales have been all over the place, but well, I guess that's what happens sometimes.

I'm going home this weekend for my birthday and I'll stop in to see Dr. Norman for my 4 month check up. I'll weigh in there, and I'm sure their scale with give a more accurate reading. If there are any Myrtle Beach Dieters out there, please send me a message! There is a new extrapounds feature that allows you to form support groups!

My 20% goal just so happened to be scheduled to be met by my birthday, September 11th. I have 4 lbs, and 4 days to go. Woah, that just freaked me out a little. In 4 days, I will be 23. Sighh...My next goal, my 30% goal, will be to get to 229.5 (so I'll have to lose 25.5 lbs!)

4 lbs is a lot to ask in 4 days, but I am carrying a lot of water weight right now. I need to drink a lot of water! I will not be dissapointed if I don't lose the 4 lbs—I had set a very high goal of 3 lbs a week. I will be excited though to start my new goal!

I went to Jazzercise last night, and it was so much fun! Ok, will update later!

Long time no post...

I updated my weight last week, but I didn't update my blog! The last time I posted, I said I was having uncontrollable hunger. Well, to be honest, that was easily fixed. My body was tired, I wasn't getting enough sleep, and when I rested up and added 2 snacks in (high protein), the hunger problem was solved. I'm feeling a lot better now.

But I haven't been exercising for the past two weeks because I've been at a new job, and have been having some very long days. I guess I lost about 4 lbs last week, which concerned me, because I hadn't been exercising, but still had a big loss. Yesterday I weighed in and lost .2 lbs, which I was fine with since I had had such a big loss the week before. This morning, however, I weighed in since I was feeling sort of bloated yesterday and it looks like I may have lost 5 or 6 lbs since last Monday? I don't know, it was 5:30 in the morning—I didn't do the math. I decided to wait a day and weigh in tomorrow and see if that is actually right. If I did in fact lose that much, I'm afraid some of it is muscle loss.

Tonight, though, I'm starting Jazzercise. I've never done that before, but Clemson's workout class schedule does not fit mine this semester, so I will be Jazzercising! This should be interesting! But the good news is I will be strength training again, so I won't have to worry about muscle loss!

Does anyone know if you could lose a significant amount of muscle in just 2 weeks of not working out???

I feel thinner/clothes are fitting loser, but isn't 10 lbs in 2 weeks with no exercise a bit much 4 months into a diet plan? The only thing I can think is my metabolism is up, or I've lost some muscle! Thouhts?

I'm baaaaaaack!

I'm back in Clemson, and I got to weigh in on my scales this morning, and I weighed in at 265.2. I hadn't weighed in last week because I was home in Myrlte Beach. Looks like I'm officially 10 lbs away from my 20% goal, which I had set to reach by September 11th, my birthday. This means I have 3 weeks left to lose that 10 lbs!

In other news, I have been living completely hungry lately, and I can't exactly figure out why. I usually don't care anything about food, but lately I'm ravenous, especially late at night. I'm not sure what's up, but I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow if I can. I can't take the constant hunger!

Last week in Clemson, still losing!

Today was exam day, and although I slept only 1 hour last night, things are looking up! I think I got an A in my class, and I lost exactly 3 lbs (which is amazing since I haven't been to the gym since it was CRUNCH time). Anyway, driving home tomorrow, very excited to see the fam and see if they can tell a difference since I left (since they last saw me I've lost 16 lbs! (In 5 weeks!) I can't belive how quickly it's come off!

Yes! Another 3.3 lbs, looks like I'm on track!

Weighed in this morning, looksl ike I've lost another 3.3 lbs, even though I didnt' get to excercise on Monday or Tuesday like I normally do. It's the last week of class here, so we've been working in the lab during our gym time. But I will hopefully get to work out tonight or tomorrow night. But the good news is that I'm still on track with my 20% goal.
