Hebrews 12:11

"No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

In the past year, I have gone from 315 lbs to 230 lbs, a total loss of 85 lbs. And God's not done with me yet! I am posting this in order to celebrate a great work that God has done in my life, but also to encourage those who have made a commitment in the new year to lose weight. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

I still have 50 lbs to lose, so I've got a ways to go, but I am so thankful for how far I've already come. I would have never been able to do it if the Lord hadn't revealed to me some of my idols and anxieties that tied me to food. I depend on his strength everyday, especially now because it gets harder to lose everyday. But He is faithful, and I know we can all reach our goals!

You are so right when you wrote that God is not through with you yet, he's not through with me or any of us yet! Isn't it amazing to see how far you've come? Looking at how far you come, you know that God is good and faithful to his word.

Wow you're looking gorgeous ! Am sorry about you feeling upset with the cruise, finals, etc ... and the outcome it had on your diet plan, but hey, you're capable of doing it and like you said, you're now really motivated to get back on track ! Keep up the great job missy ! :)
