New start..again :)

I was laying on the couch with my 2 year old last night trying to get him to go to sleep. I was bored and was looking around the room and my eyes rested on my legs. I never noticed how big they are now. It made me sad...so I decided to start over again. I walked for almost 9 minutes and burned 53 calories. I would have walked longer, but it's time to head to town. It's a good start though!! First think Monday morning i'm starting the Pilates again. I'm on a mission..to see how much weight I can lose before vacation (which is the middle of June). 

Intro

Hello. My name is Melissa. I married my DH in 1999 and we immediately moved away to go to college. I stayed home all day. I was suppose to find a job...but ended up in a drepression like state. I lived on the computer and ate all day. As you can probably guess, I started putting on the weight like crazy!! I had my first baby (after battling infertility) in 2005. When I delivered, I was 5 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. I had my second baby in 2006 and third in 2007, with those I only gained between 10-12 pounds over my prepregnancy weight. I'm down 3 pounds from the weight I was when I delivered #3. I'm so sad! I know it's because I kept eating like I was pregnant after I delivered. I'm so ready to get this weight off. I hate the way I look. I feel  like I embarass my family and want to change that.

I really need support. I can't do this on my own! I'm going to try and start walking at least 2-3 times a week. I am going to try and cut out Dr Pepper (my weakness) and other sugars.
