My Love/Hate Relationship
with the weekends.
Oh how I love my weekends, I get to lay around in my pj's all day if want. I can cuddle up with a good book, I can watch a marathon of "America's Next Top Model" and really not feel guilty about it. After all, I work hard all week, running here and there so why not rest and enjoy my weekends?
Oh how I hate my weekends, I lay around in my pj's all day. I watch tv non stop for two days. My eating schedule goes completely out the window. I don't drink my water and I don't exercise.
I'm so conflicted! I love the weekends yet I hate them. I suppose I should try to find some balance on those two little days of the week, but I get so caught up in doing nothing that I just can't put forth the effort.
Maybe when Spring gets here it will be a little easier for me. I'm more apt to go outside and work in the yard, I'm planning to put in a garden this spring. Maybe it is just the winter blahs getting to me.
On a good note, my jeans, fresh out of the dryer this morning, went on with no trouble and are actually comfortable. So I know I'm losing something besides my mind.

LOL..you crack me up. I think we all at one time or another think we are losing our minds. At least your pants are fitting great!!!!!

One dya of the weekend usually Saturday is my day to do whatever, if its going out with friends and then to the gym or just laying on the couhc watching ANTM then so be it. My one little secret is we never keep any junk in the house so its kind of hard to binge on junk if you don't have it which is one great weakness honestly. On Friday's after yoga, I go to the grocery store and pick up healthy goodies to last me through the weekend:)

when the jean come out of the dryer and go right on? That is awesome for you. I am so happy for you. You have almost lost 10 pounds! That is huge!!!

Ooooo that is exciting. I have been hanging my jeans up to dry. Can't wait to get to that first 10lb mark so they can go back in the dryer!

me too!
i feel the same way about weekends! i am normally so off track - because we go out to eat - or i don't do much - i do go to the gym on saturday AM - but thats it. my trick to water - i make my huge water bottle that i take to work up and just keep it next to me so i drink it. when you work so hard during the week it's hard to not just take time off on the weekends!
