Going in the right direction!
I lost .8lbs today bringing my total to 27.4lbs in exactly 3 months. Considering the entire month of June consisted of gaining on vacation, or undoing damage done on vacation, it's just fine. 
I didn't have the best week eating-wise, either. I had Papa John's pizza with the hubby on Tuesday, 3 dine-out lunches, and 1 other dine-out dinner. I did, however, have a good weekend and did 16 mins on the elliptical last night. I am going for 3 times on the elliptical this week and a much better eating week! I'd love to lose at least 2.6 to get to that 30lb mark, and pass my first 10% loss. I need to lose 17.4 lbs by August 29 to meet my other goal of 250. I just need to stay focused, continue to integrate more and more activity, and stop eating out so much!

Decent WI
I lost 1.2 lbs this week bringing my total to 26.6. I'm now .8 under where I was when I left for vacation May 31. Whew! Glad that damage is done and I can move forward now.
I didn't have a perfect week so I'm very pleased with my loss. I ate way too much Middle Eastern food yesterday and snacked a bit when I shouldn't have, but I didn't totally lose control. I did the elliptical for 15 mins of good cardio to help lessen it which I think helped.
I have a new goal! I want to be 250 by my 3rd anniversary (August 29) which also happens to be my baby boys first birthday! That would be just amazing to be 5lbs away from what I weighed at my wedding. I want to fit into my dress, darn it!
I didn't lose that much in June, but my goal is 10lbs in July! It's on!

Woohoo, I'm back!
I lost 9.3 lbs this week! I'm only .4 above where I was before the vacation. I'm so thrilled that almost all that yucky water weight and such is history. I'm also SUPER thrilled that I was able to hop right back on the wagon and feel super good about doing it.
I've currently got a pretty hideous cold, but I did actually work out this week! I only did once, since I got sick, but I did 10 minutes on our elliptical machine. I'm planning to add 2 mins every time (once I'm well enough) to get up to 20, then wait a month and progressively move up to 30mins. The last time I lost weight and worked out I think the logest I ever did the elliptical for was maybe 25 minutes. I'm going to trump that!
Anyways, I'm very pleased that in 5 days I undid a huge majority of the damage. I really hope to have a nice loss next week so I'm below pre-vacation weight.

Bleh!
Well, as expected I gained a pretty big chunk from my 2 week vacation...9.7 lbs. Bleeeegh! It sucks, but it's ok. I'm right back on track and I know it'll come off quickly if I stay on plan. This is a good test for me, though, getting back on track after some (more than some) bad choices.
I'm NOT giving up! I will get to my goal, and if every now and then it takes a couple weeks to fix a screw up, that's ok. :)

Out of town...
Well, I'm in Florida until 6/12 and weigh in on 6/13. Unless I get my act together, I'll have a very rude awakening, I'm afraid. Not making good choices...but I can turn that around, I can I can! the hotel we're staying at has a huge breakfast buffet, and while I resisted the donuts and pastries, I had grits, scrambled eggs & a biscuit. Gah! They do have good choices like cereal and fruit and hopefully tomorrow I'll resist temptation a bit better.
I'm not giving up, I can get through this and lose more more more!

Week 8 Results
I lost 4.1 lbs this week, bringing my total since April 2 to 25.8 lbs lost, woohoo! I'm ecstatic. I also DID meet my goal of being under 270 before leaving for Florida! We leave on Thursday, and I weighed 269 today. Yay! I know I'll be so much more comfy on the plane, as will my hubby.
Today I went over to my sister's place and she very generously gave me some clothes that were too big on her. I'm now a 22! I've gone down about a size and a half since this diet. I was squeezing into 24's, and now the 22's fit great. Yay for clothes that fit! I also was re-measured today and have lost 8 inches so far.
I'm so happy I decided to do this for myself, and for my family. Hopefully I'll lose another 25lbs over the next 8 weeks!

Week 7 Results
I lost 1.1 lbs this week bringing my total to 21.7lbs since I started on April 2. That's pretty awesome! :) I should have lost more, but had a not so super weekend with the In-Laws in town, but it wasn't too tragic - I still lost! I need to lose 3.2lbs this week to make my under 270 goal for Florida a week from Thursday and I'm confident I can do it! Even if I don't, I've come such a long way and know I'll feel a heck of a lot more comforable on that airplane now!
I'm now about 25lbs heavier than I was at my wedding...it's pretty unreal, because I think I looked pretty darn good at my wedding, but I still feel quite large now. Maybe my body changed since having a baby, who knows. Either way, I'll get there and beyond! (I sound like Buzz Lightyear...)

Week 6 results
I lost 4.9lbs this week bringing me to 20.6 lost since joining JC! Woohoo! This makes up for my .3 loss last week. I had confidence I'd have a nice big drop soon!
I wish I noticed it more to be honest. I'm fitting in some smaller clothes, but I guess I just don't see a drastic difference. I'm sure that will come, though. I'm now roughly 30lbs away from my wedding weight! Once I get there it'll be a huge milestone for me. I also really think I can get under 270 before I head to Florida in 2.5 weeks. Only 4.3 lbs until I'm out of the 270's!
Anyways, things are going well. My In-Laws are coming in this weekend which will be a challenge since they eat out a lot while they're here and drag us along with them (bleh), but I'll overcome. :)
Here's to another great week...I love 3 lb losses!

Week 5 Results
Not a terribly impressive week - down .3, which is perplexing. I was down between 2-3 the past couple days on my scale, but I can only hope for a nice big loss next week. In no way am I discouraged at all, just a wee bit disappointed. My consultant referred to me as her "superstar" before the weigh in saying I was only one of two to have consistant strong losses. There goes that streak!
It may be TOM, but since I'm nursing I never really know. Anyways, just gotta keep moving along. I'm still in a very good place for my weight loss journey...I just REALLY want to be under 270 before May 31 when we go to Florida. That's about 3.5 weeks and 9.2lbs to lose. I gotsta gotsta do it!

Week 4 WI
I lost 1.6 lbs this week, bringing my 4 week total to 15.4lbs. I was really hoping for 2-3lbs, but I'll definitely take a loss regardless! I'm surprised I don't "feel" it more since 15lbs is a pretty decent chunk-o-weight (A little over 5% of my starting weight). I am the lowest I've been in probably 2 years, though, woohoo! I am just so anxious to get back to my adult low (237.5) and beyond. It will be interesting to see if my body is different since having a baby.
I am really aiming for at least 3lbs this week. I need to get out and exercise more, like I mentioned in my last entry. I think that might help. My consultant is very enthusiastic about my progress and says I'm doing awesome, so I'll just keep movin' along. To make my goal of being under 270 for Florida, I need to lose 9.5lbs in 5 weeks...Totally doable, I hope!
