I made it to the 180's and more!
I finally made it! I weighed in this morning at 188! Also, I went shopping last Friday to Kohls with a friend. She handed me a pair of size 14 pants and told me to try them on. I haven't worn that size in a LONG time. I told her it was a long shot and kept pulling out 16's. Well, I tried them on, along with a few others in that size and they all FIT!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!

It's been a while
but I'm still on track... for the most part. I hate the winter though. I get so stinkin' crabby! I can't wait to get out in the sunshine! I'm doing ok though, but I could do better. I am deciding today though to get out of my funk and move forward! No sense in being crabby about the weather, I can't do anything to change it. I CAN change my mood though. Life is all about choices. I need to keep making the right choices. I need to stay on track. Today will be better than yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today.

Just another lovely day!
Think positive everyone, we are reaching our goals. It's all about baby steps though! Create those new healthy habits and toss out the old bad habits forever. I had a good weekend, had some things that weren't the healthiest (ie. cheeseburger), but I still stayed within my WW points allowance, so that's ok! The weekdays are always easier for me since I work the whole day, I have little to no temptations (well other than the bazillion candy jars laying around the building). I keep working on getting my water intake up to where it should be. I just started my first glass of the day. I have plenty of time to get them all in. That is my goal today :) Tonight I am going to the mall with a friend. It will be nice to get out of the house to do something other than going to the gym! I will be exercising with my balance ball when I get home though.

Off to the gym!
Brrrrr! It's sooo cold outside! I'm just waiting for my car to warm up a little then I'm off to pick up my friend and we're heading to the gym. I'm pumped up! Hopefully I can burn off the rest of the .8 lbs and get to 189 lbs. I had a few drinks last night, so I migh have a little bit more work to do because of it. That's ok though, I deserved those drinks :) I don't feel regretful at all.
Here's to a great day, a great workout, and a great feeling of self-assurance. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and remember to tell yourself how much you love yourself!

Good bye 190's!!
I weighed in this morning and the scale read 190.8. Good bye 190's, I'm on my way outta here! This makes me so excited!! I haven't seen the 180's in a very long time.
This weekend I hope to stay on track and get some exercise in. I didn't go to the gym last night but I did go bowling with some friends so that counts for something. I feel good and heck, I must be doing something right! I am going to a friends house for dinner tonight and we'll probably hide downstairs for a bit to do The Firm workout after we eat. Tomorrow morning I'm off to Bally's for a workout first thing in the morning.

WW Online
Since I've been counting points for so long now without going to meetings and I've done so well, I decided to join WW Online and see all it has to offer. I have to say that I'm very impressed by it! There are lots of great features.
I had to give up my detox diet. I came down with a cold (thanks to dh) and I felt like I wasn't getting what I needed in order to fight it off properly. Ughh.. oh well. I am just going to continue counting my points and keep my weight loss going though! I'm down 30 lbs!!! That is soooo exciting! I've got 50lbs (approx.) to go. I CAN do this!!!

Writing makes me more motivated..
I have been stalking my blog today. I am really more motivated to work out when I write about it. The more I write, the more excited I get! This is curbing my cravings too. Weird..

Yay! Going to the gym tonight!
I'm excited to go work out tonight. I didn't think that I would be able to make it there tonight because I have a sick kid at home. My husband is being VERY supportive though and is making sure that I am able to go. He works crazy hours, but is making sure to be home for me to go to the gym as many nights each week that I want to go. I also have a friend that goes with me, which helps a lot!
Tonight I am working on Biceps and Triceps and of course my cardio. I plan on taking a current pic of me as well so that I can track my progress. I finally added some pics to my blog
I look forward to posting some better thinner pics!!

Detox Diet - Day 2
So yesterday was harder than I thought it would be. I think it was more of a "mind over matter" thing than anything else though. Just knowing that I couldn't have any of the things that I normally eat was hard. I got home with my kids yesterday and dh was already home and the house was filled with the smell of grilled cheese. OH MAN! Of course there was still an extra sitting in the pan on the stove.. still hot. He made it for Brendan (our 2 year old) and was only trying to help me out so that I wouldn't be tempted while making his dinner. Sheesh.. it smelled soooo good. I have to admit that I licked a piece of the crust. I was so glad that no one saw me do that! LOL!
The soup is good though, so that's a bonus! Today I will eat only soup and veggies. Having soup and carrots for breakfast today will be interesting... I do get a big baked potato with butter tonight and boy am I looking forward to that.
This morning though, my tummy was rumbling already as I was changing the little one's diaper and my first thought was "how am I gonna get through another day of this?" My second thought though was "this is what it means to eat to live and not live to eat..". What a revelation. I finally GET it! I think anyway.. So, I have my soup here at my desk cooling and I will eat the soup. I don't need anything else. I might want something else, but the fact remains that I don't NEED it. I have to get through this. I have to do this for myself and my children. I WILL get through this!!
