I just came back from seeing Batman "The Dark Knight". It was so good, but so sad to know that such a talented actor like Heath Ledger will no longer be entertaining us.
But not to depress everyone, you know when you visit a place like the movies that have small chairs and such, you really dread it. Everytime I have ever gone to the movies since gaining all my weight, I have basically had to squeeze myself into those seats. It's uncomfortable, embarassing, and confining. So I really wanted to see this movie since it came out, and I took my son and we went. I of course had to sneek in my healthy snacks, but I had a little popcorn too! We were all ready and chose our seats. As I was sitting, I was dreading preparing to squeeze into the seat. However my rear end hit the seat, no problems, no squeezing, nothing. I couldn't believe it, I slid right in the chair, and since I was not stuffed into the chair I had room to move and did not feel like I was also sitting on top of my kid. That was a great feeling. It's been a long time since I had the chance to enjoy a movie with out looking like a pig in a blanket.
Anyways, just wanted to let that out, I am sure that some of you know exactly what I am talking about. Can't wait till my next movie!!!
Lots of love,
Kami

CONGRATULATIONS, You Skinny Thing!!
Wow! Doesn't it feel good to actually be able to sit comfortably into a movie seat!!!! Way - to - Go!!!!! I used to sit into a seat and have my waist and hip fat (and arms & shoulders) spill over onto the other seat areas! And my BUTT and BACK would hurt so badly after a while, I would be twisting and shifting my body all the time - trying to end the pain. No More!!! I can watch the movie without feeling like I'm in a torture chamber now!!!
Isn't it GREAT to be thinner??? Skinny people will never understand how hard life is for fatties.
About your worrying about me leaving EP for a while back there. I never had the slightest inclination to leave or give up. I was feeling a little helpless, but I knew that, without EP, I might as well say "I want to stay fat and heavy for the rest of my life!!!!!!" So, I plan on staying here for a very long time. Even after I reach my goal, because I believe that we will ALWAYS need to keep our eyes on the goal -- (plus, supporting others - helps us, too).
How about you? When you have a rough time, will YOU "stick it out", too? Will you hang in there until things turn around? That's what this place is FOR, isn't it? I've seen some blogs where people hadn't lost weight for a l - o - o - o - n - n - g time! But, there they were -- still caring and trying. Now, that's what I call PERSEVERANCE!!! I admire that SO much!!!! I want to be that type!
If you keep on losing at the rate you're losing now --- you'll weigh less than I will!!! Then, later on, you can tell me how it feels to be so slim!!!
Stay in touch with me, hon. I LOVE hearing from you!!!
