Pedometers
If you don't have a sportbrain, I highly recommend it. I love mine! You can buy them on Ebay cheaper than the sportbrain website. Kache got me hooked on it.
So remember how I posted to get up and move around? Playing with my daughter and just running around the house, I averaged 3.3 mph for 15 minutes, and it didn't feel like any type of exercise!
Down to 180.4 today. I'm pushing for 180 even on Thursday and then 178.8 next Thursday.

Get up and move!
Every bit helps, so as you're sitting at work or at home, if you are able to, get up every 30 minutes or every hour and walk, jog, skip, hop for a few minutes. Every bit of movement helps burn calories. I remember reading about this in a Prevention magazine. They put some device on women to see how many calories they burned a day and then had them try to add activity daily and on average, the women burned 250-300 calories more than they normally would by just a little extra movement throughout the day.
So i'm going to go hop, jog, skip, walk around my house for 5 minutes. You do the same. Let me know how much fun you had!

Oh no!
My body fat is up to 31% Just a couple weeks ago it was down to 30.3% using my analyzer. How could i gain that much fat in just a couple weeks? Eating out for 4 or 5 days in San Diego didn't help! My weight this morning was 180.6 so I'm almost below 180 again for the final time!
It feels so good to eat on plan and healthy. I love this feeling.
And since I still can't control myself with sweets, they just aren't allowed in my house, period! Not until I can learn some self-control.

BRRR
It's chilly outside for the first time this fall, and it feels great! But brrr, we're not used to it. It's currently 72 in the house and my feet are freezing. 
My goal is to be a size 10 by Christmas. I need to make some progress! No more pigging out on fresh-baked macadamia nut cookies. They were damn good, though. It's so hard not to bake in this cool weather. Makes the house smell so yummy and just feels like fall. know what I mean?
So these weirdos who are talking smack about me have a financial interest in a certain drug and they think I made all this stuff up about being in the study, etc. What losers they are! They seem to think i started this blog to affect the drug outcome. Hahahaha! Thanks for giving me such credit that one person could change the outcome of a huge drug study going on. I'm quite flattered. 
So read away, people, if you have nothing better to do with your time. I'm just an average person with food issues, and millions of Americans have the same food issues i do. A drug will not fix it. I binged while on the study drug. What kept me on track was knowing I would go in for monthly weigh-ins, and I didn't want to look like an idiot and not lose weight! So that's what kept me away from the snacking more so than usual. Drugs are not the answer, but it's a good aid for sure!

Not going to hide
Some people have taken it upon themselves in a Yahoo Message Group to make fun of me and even called me a "nut job"! I was hurt and didn't want them reading my blog, but who cares. I never claimed to be perfect. I have my faults. Eating issues are definitely one of them. That doesn't make me a nut job!!
So they can keep checking on me and see that I can remove the weight without the use of the drug I was taking.
Watch me shrink!

No weight gain!
I weighed myself Monday before heading to San Diego and weighed myself this morning after returning last night and I weigh the same! I probably gained some fat, but, hey at least i'm not back up to 185 or something crazy!
I'll write more later! And check in on my EP friends

Happy happy joy joy
I'm not on cloud nine but seeing that blog post labeled "depressing" every time I opened my page, it made me sad!! So time to get something positive here.
I've removed 45 pound of fat, so that's something to be proud of! Only the young girls who have not gained weight yet nor have had children look good naked. And then the airbrushed ones, as someone pointed out. So I'm okay not looking my best naked. I'm getting a tummy tuck next year anyway to help with that pouch if it's still there.
I'm good. I'm happy!! I'm eager to reach my goal.
My damn emotions are all over the place and that doesn't help, but I can overcome that and choose to be happy and positive. I'm in control of my thoughts.
I WILL SUCCEED! I WILL SUCCEED! I'll keep repeating that to myself instead of setting myself up for failure.
I'm a nut, I know

Shopping this weekend
Since we're heading to San Diego on Monday and the highs there are low 70s -- AWESOME! -- I'm in need of some jeans. My jeans I have are 16s and way too big.
I was looking at Old Navy's website and saw some cute tops and jeans! So wish me luck, ladies. I'm going to eat great today and exercise and maybe could get a tad smaller for trying on clothes tomorrow. LOL Like one day could make a difference! I'm such a dork, heh.
So I think I'll try Old Navy first and then try JcPenney or Kohl's if nothing works out. Or do you know of someplace great to find cute clothes?

Weekly report
180.6. Not real happy I'm back up above 180 but it'll be short-lived for I plan to be 179 next week! I'll just have to do really well eating out in San Diego Monday night, Tues. Wed. and Thurs. Then my weigh-in will be one day late on Friday.
However, I'm losing inches!! I'll count these losses from my measurements I took 7/28/08.
- Arm - .5
- Chest - 1.5
- Stomach - 3
- Hips - 2
- Thigh - 1
So I've removed 8 inches of fat from my body in just over 2 months and my body fat has gone from 32.3% on July 8 to 30.3% today!!! So in 3 months that's not too bad, heh. It could be better for sure. But I'm happy that I'm any bit healthier today than I was a month or two ago!

MUFA
MUFA is just short for monounsaturated fat. Nothing secretive going on here
I'm not bright eough to come up with some cool language to use!
Speaking of spinning class, you mentioned being out in front of the class in step or dance class. I used to be up front in step class all the time! I loved it. Now, dance class in my living room with only me, I'm right up front. hehee My daughter was watching me Saturday night do a dance video and was giggling and said I looked silly. I might have but I was burning calories!
I sort of miss the classes at the gym but I think I'll stick to at-home workouts for now.
