Oh my i'm wiped out

I just did 34 minutes of strength training and i am exhausted!  At one point I thought I was going to vomit it was so hard and my heart rate must have been too high!!  Yikes.  My arms right now feel like J-E-L-L-O   I think that's a good thing!

I'm debating going and riding the bike for 10 minutes.  i think I will for some more cardio cause I count my weights as cardio to some extent as high as my heart rate was/is!!

Monday!

I took off Sat. and Sunday as far as exercise went.  I know I could have/should have exercised, but I was just tired and I took a three hour nap yesterday!  Then I was up till 1:15 am reading a book cause I wasn't tired.  Doh!  No long naps for me.  But who intends to sleep that long?  With a husband, a 5 yr old, and a dog, I didn't think I'd end up napping three hours

So I was kind of expecting my weight to be up today but no, 178.4, so just up .2 from yesterday.  I think I'm ahead of schedule to meet 165 by Xmas.  I have 9 weeks and 3 days, i'm thinking, to get there.  So if my weigh-in Thursday is, say, 178 even, then that means 12 pounds in 9 weeks.  That's doable for sure.

Slacks = 12

First off, don't waste your time going to shop at Linens-N-Things!  They are going out of business but the majority of their stuff is only 10% off. Big whoop.  They're overpriced on most stuff anyway!

So my daughter and I walked down to Ross after the flop at Linens-N-Things and did much better.

I needed gray slacks for work and didn't feel like trying on clothes, so I just grabbed a pair of Dockers in size 12 for $10 and figured I couldn't go wrong for $10!!  If they were too tight, I'd fit into them in a few weeks.  Guess what!?!?!  They fit perfect!!  I am so glad.  It makes me feel better cause I felt fat this morning even with the low weigh-in.  Period time is due next Friday so I feel bloated.

Got a pair of brown slip-on shoes to wear with jeans and my daughter got some Tinkerbell shoes and two High School Musical tops and new toys for our doggie...oh, and socks for hubby and a new fruit basket thing. 

Made out good but best of all is the size 12s fit!  made my day.

It's working!!

So i went back and looked at how many calories I was netting a day back in June when I was dropping 2 pounds a week and even exercised last night a little harder than I had planned so that I could net at least under 1100 calories for the day.  It's paid off!

178.8 today!

My calorie king program just might be right cause it tells me in the daily summary how much of a loss I can expect and it varies daily but the average has been about 6.5 pounds!  So I should be at 175 in two weeks.  yay!

Sleep eating

I apparently have started sleep eating again, where I wake up in the morning and find evidence that I had some snack in the middle of the night.  UGH!  I'm down .2 today from yesterday, no biggie, but I was completely on plan yesterday, netted 1080 calories after exercise, and then I ate a fortune cookie and chocolate chips in the middle of the night.  Damn it!

I'm debating putting a lock on the pantry!  LOL 

Food logs

Even if you don't count calories, it's great to keep a food log.  I'm so glad I keep one pretty much daily because now I can look back from January when I lost 6 pounds or June when I lost 8 pounds and see exactly what I was eating.  So I printed out from 6/4 - 7/4, and I'm referring to it as I prepare my breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and really going to try to follow it pretty closely so that I can lose 8 pounds a month again!!

I want to be 165 by Xmas, so that's 1.5 pounds a week. I will do this.

Daily goal!!

I already met part of my daily goal -- interval video with weights!!  it felt so good to get back into it.  It's only been two weeks but it was too long!

Met my weekly goal!

I said I wanted to be 180.2 today and I am!  yay!  So next week is 179 even.  I'll aim for 1.2 pounds a week for now. That's easy cause I won't have to work out too hard or cut too many calories

flat belly diet

i somehow ordered the flat belly diet book when i signed up for prevention magazine.  Doh!  Was it meant to be that it showed up this past week? i think so.

It makes sense.  I had read about it online and had already started incorporating some of the monounsaturated fats with my meals but the past 3 days i have added 4 servings a day of the good fats and i just feel so much better.  Plus, it forces you to eat clean.

I have organic flaxseed pumpkin granola for breakfast with flaxseeds added to it for extra good fats.  For lunch i had pasta with organic veggie meatballs with 1T of olive oil for my good fats.  i add almond butter to high fiber toast or eat some macademia nuts.  i am eating 1600 calories a day and never feel hungry.  and i'm down to 179.6 today!!
