Before After

Slack already with the posting!

I have too many places I post shit, I swear!  There's the LiveJournal for the personal life, the MySpace for the .. no idea why I have one (again), the 5 different email addresses... I think I need to streamline somewhere... but not sure where.

Anyway, no time to post the whole menu thing, but I just wanted to post to say that I am still within my WPA for the week!  Of course, I have like 2WPA left to spend over 3 days, but I'll figure it out.

I'm doing much better this week than last week.

I saw a quote on the WW message board that I put up on my white board in my kitchen:

IF HUNGER ISN'T THE PROBLEM, EATING ISN'T THE SOLUTION.

That's stopped me from a lot of mindless munching this week. :)

Anyway, Spring Break is done and work starts tomorrow... gotta sleep!

Motivation....

So today I went to a meeting.  It's been since January... and I gained about 3 pounds, which isn't that bad, but not good either.

I actually bumped into my regular leader, Karen, at the Publix by school a couple days ago.  She lives in that neighborhood and was grocery shopping with her younger daughter (and her big pregnant belly!).  Anyhoo, she asked me how I was doing and I was like eh, busy, not too good in terms of the weight loss thing.  I told her about moving and she suggested to go to the Wednesday night meetings at Conway because that's when Doris is there.

So I went.  It's kinda nice to be back in an actual Center again instead of a church meeting room.  The real WW Centers have computers and just look really nice and they can hang up all sorts of posters and pictures and everything.  So anyway, Doris was out, so there was this asian lady Teona, who was actually pretty cool.

The meeting topic was, appropriately, The Ladder of Achievement... and we talked about what percent we were on different goals for WW... like are you 100% on your 8 healthy guidelines or 100% on water or 100% on excercise... I'm pretty much 100% at nothing right now. :-(

Anyway, I'm going to try to get back on track this week.  I feel so fat. :-(

December

I can't believe I'm 175.  I feel so much better. :-)  Went back to the gym today for the first time in a couple weeks.  That was good.  Hoping to get back there a lot in the next two weeks.

Not Bad

Lost 0.6 this week.  Didn't have the most OP week, so I'm pretty happy with that.  I need to do some food shopping so I can actually have Core foods in the house.  Right now, there's NO food in the house, Core or otherwise.

I'm on a mental health day today.  When the teachers want to eat the students, it's time to take a long weekend.

December Goal

I'm still struggling a lot staying Core on weekends.  I could have chosen chicken lettuce wraps at Uno's, but instead went for flatbread pepperoni because I really wanted pizza.  I didn't feel so good after eating it.  Just too greasy.  Of course, that didn't stop me from eating the leftovers today.  Blarg.

Anyway, I put everything in, and I'm out of WPAs, but that's no biggie.  I can stay 100% Core on work days.  I'll be too busy this week to eat anyway!

My goal is to get to 170 by 2007.  That's about 2 lbs a week, but I think if I put my mind (and mouth!) to it, I can do it.

Hooray 170s!!

I made it!  Lost 2.2 this week.  Of course, one pound of that is probably because I weighed in the morning instead of the evening, but hey.... even 1.2 is awesome! :-)

Hooray for the Core Plan!

Today's food (so far):

Salad with:

grilled chicken, cukes, yellow peppers, snow peas, grape tomatoes, sunflower seeds (not Core), raisins (not Core), French dressing (not Core).

I wish the salad bar at Albertsons had fat free dressing. ;p

Ok, I'm slacking

This weekend was kinda off and on plan.  I did my best, but had a big work event all weekend except Sunday.  Stress! ;p

Anyhoo, today was more of a Flex day than a Core, but I still did pretty well considering.  I went to the gym and did legs with my trainer.  I felt good about that.

Only a day and a half left until LONG WEEKEND.  I can't wait.

Found this website through the WeightWatchers community message boards, and it's pretty darn cool!  I won't be using the food tracker or activity tracker because I already do that on the WW website, but I want to post my food logs and such on the blog so that other folks can read them if they want.

Sean is on it too, and hopefully he'll update! ;-)  He's doing NutriSystem and is doing awesome so far!!
