Magic Number

Hi All... well my magic number is 1.6, that's how many pounds I have to lose until I am HALFWAY to GOAL...OMG it feels so GOOD! I was dancing up a storm this morning when I saw the number on the scale! I think I have plenty of time to get to goal in October- I really, really, really want to be at 145lbs. for my 29th...I know as I lose more that its going to get harder for my body to shed the weight but I am so ready to win the battle. Its been easy sticking to the Jenny food for the last few days...and I have been kicking butt at the gym and the results are showing...I couldn't be more pleased. I think this is the smallest that I have been since 2002, Wahoo!

Ran last night (walked more than ran because it was an off day). I am very happy with my stamina and endurance thus far with this training regime. Still love the stationary bike too- I think with the nice weather coming along I might actually invest in a bike. I did a little weight lifting also.

Tonight though I am taking the night off from the gym- I am a little sore today and want to give my body the chance to fully recover. (Don't worry I'll be back there tomorrow! I actually think I might get up extra early and do it at 5:30)

I have a graduation party to attend on Saturday night and I am excited to see some of my family that haven't seen me in a while. I think that some of them will be shocked at the progress that I have made in recent months. I have family members who are always dieting and there is always a discussion about who's on WW, who's trying Atkins or South Beach...we compare and contrast notes- it's pretty comical. My plan for the party is to eat before I go and then graze on the veggie platter and salad. It always helps to be able to plan ahead.

And I must say that reading all of your "blogs" has helped to keep me more than motivated on this journey. Thank you for the words of encouragement- so helpful to know that there are fans on the sidelines cheering everyone on in their journey.

Pst! Drink your water, I am drinking mine!

Hey L..... I am very happy for you, and proud of you..... You look amazing, but to me you have looked amazing since the day I fell in love with you. Making your goal weight will be great, and you will feel so much better, but just rmember that some of us have always loved you no matter how much "Extra pounds" were on the scale...... You will always be beautiful in my eyes ;)
