It's been a while
Sorry all, I was away on business for a few days and then with the weekend...no time to write. (I try not to take a computer on the plane with me).
I did Ok with all my Jenny Craig food almost 3,000 miles away from me. I didn't lose, but I didn't GAIN either! I was back at the gym friday morning almost immediately after I got off the red-eye. I did workout #2 of week 1 of the Couch to 5k. I altered it a little so I was running more than I was walking (success!) I also biked for 8 miles on the stationary bike and then I did some weight lifting.
I am working on updating my Measurements (because I sometimes think the loss of inches are more important than the actual weight loss). I just need to take a look at my original Jenny Craig measurements tomorrow-and I will report back on Wednesday.
Saturday was kind of of a bust...I pretty much ate what I wanted to and I didn't exercise. Boo!
But it was my own fault and can't blame anyone but myself for that. Although- I thought about eating a bagel for 3 hours before I actually got it...the 'old' me would have gotten it immediately and then eaten again an hour later!
Sunday was a different story though, I walked in the morning (took two of the dogs to get munchkins (none for me!) and I had a coffee. That was probably 1 1/2 miles round trip. Later that morning, I met up with a walking buddy and we went 3.85 miles around Lake Quannopowit in Wakefield. I burned 577 calories- yay!
We kind of walked at a leisurely pace, but the distance is what it is and the calories burned are still over 500 so I think it was a positive work out. Anything is better than planting myself on the couch and watching TV without any activity.
I have the Nike itunes so it helps to track walks and runs that's how I know the calories and exact distance that we walked. Love that gadget!
It is Jenny and nothing but the Jenny menu all week- I am trying to jump start this weight loss (I am at a stall!) I know that I won't meet my mini goal on sunday but I'll take any loss at this point. I'll keep you posted.
Drink your water!
(Side note: Anyone who reads my blogs knows I am a huge Red Sox fan. I am very proud that they won 2 of the 3 this weekend...I am a little disturbed about Manny Ramirez rubbing Julian Taverez's head in the dugout on Sunday (it was a little weird!) and finally- I was only upset for a second when I heard Clemens was going to be a Yankee (again!) - that's Ok we don't need him!He isn't going to help the Yankees that much anyway )
