Really, they need to make 1/2 sizes...
Just like shoes! Your not quite an 8 but definitely not a 9 so you get an 8 1/2- it makes sense! Why can't they do this with jeans?? I am having a huge problem with finding jeans that fit. I am down almost 30 pounds and I want to show it...so I am on the prowl for a pair of jeans that actually fit. I am in between a 12 and a 14...I carry most of my weight in my lower half of my body...I am so proud that its getting slimmer- but so discouraged that this treasure hunt for a pair of pants that actually fit is never ending
. They fit for a minute and then I spend the rest of the day pulling them up...but then again, maybe that's a form of arm exercises?? I have tried suffering through wearing them and then wash them in hot water to shrink them a little- but seriously - some one needs to some up with 1/2 sizes. my waist is a 12 at this point- maybe a 10 even...but my butt and thighs- still a 14- so frustrating - and my legs are extremely short so that just adds to the issue.
Here is another gripe about jeans- not everyone is supposed to wea low rise jeans. I know that I am one of these people. I want to keep it all under cover- I don't want my 'muffin top' to be spilling over the sides of my pants- I don't want my underwear to be on display for the world to see...I asked an Old Navy sales person ( I prefaced this with "You are probably going to think that I am 100 years only when I ask this ...but") do you have jeans that aren't low rise or ULTRA low rise, like they sit more on the waist ...her response...we used to but they weren't popular so we don't make them anymore!! I said of course you don't and made my way towards the exit. Sorry for my rant!
Have a great weekend everyone, remember to drink your water!
PS - last two days have been good ones- since I am writing everything down! I promised myself that I wouldn't get on the scale until tuesday (that's hard since its become an automatic in the morning!)
