Yeah I am almost out of the 190's and almost at 20 lbs down.
I was watching Oprah the other day, and she said that she lost weight when she made the decision to do so. That seems like an obvious statement however I could really relate to it. I am now at a point where I have decided to lose weight. So when I am having a hard day I don't overeat, when I go out for dinner or coffee I don't eat something fatty, I get exercise in every week ... I do these things b/c I have decided to lose weight. I don't have any excuses b/c I have made a decision to no longer be fat. I definately have times where I feel like I want to overeat, but feeling that way and doing it are two different things. Like an athelete who has decided to go to the oplympics( Athletes don't always enjoy or want to train, but they do it for the pay off in the long run) I have decided that I will do what is necessary to reach my goal. I know that I am not perfect, but I also know that if I ever make a mistake that I will pick myself up and keep on going. I will not give up on my goal.
Yeah me!
Ok I wrote a big long brutal post at 3 am the other day about my relationship troubles. I chose to remove it b/c well it was just something I felt in that moment, but I didn't want to keep it around. I am doing better today. And I have managed to stick to my Jenny Craig plan through it all.
Whoo Hoo! Another successful week. I can't wait to be out of the 190's I am sick of this number! 180's here I come.
Well, I bought my hubby an exercise bench and free weights for father's day so we have been doing weights together. If feels good to workout my muscles (my wrists and elbows are a little sore though). I don't want to get "buff" , but I would like to look toned when I lose my extra fat.
Well I have been strictly on JC for one month now, and I am still HUNGRY most of the time. So this week I am going to do JC food (plus some of my own) and Weight Watchers points. Doing it this way has made my day sooo much better. I still feel slightly hungry at times but it is way more managable. Plus I get extra food for exercising whoo hoo! I hope that things will still be OK on the scale side of things because doing it this way will make it easier to do this long term.
Hurrah! I made it to my 1st 10 pound reward :)

During the week when I am in school me and my family stay in my granparents basement suite (we go home on the weekends). Anyway my grandma is 69, retired , and rarely goes out b/c she get's dizzy when she walks outside. Anyway b/c she can't walk on her own when she goes out she never gets any exercise so she is very fat and out of shape (she wasn't this way until she retired). Anyway I got her an elderly person's exercise video and guess what she did it! She could only do it for 4 min. but who cares she tried and she is going to keep it and try to do it for longer over time. If you knew my grandma you would know how out of character this is for her and I am SO HAPPY!
