Starting JC
I am at 179 so I am still 30 pounds down and I am starting JC where I left off in the summer. Today is my first day back.

I am at 179 so I am still 30 pounds down and I am starting JC where I left off in the summer. Today is my first day back.
Yeah I weighed in today at 178.2 , so I lost 2.8 pounds and made it to my 30 pound reward (my hubby is going to take me to a nice hotel).
but still managed to lose 0.6 pounds.
whooo hooo! only 2 more pounds to go to reach my 30 pound reward.
Well it is day 3 back on plan and I forgot how hungry I am on Jenny. Hopefully I will get used to eating less. I got accepted to the program I was hoping to get into (Nuclear Medicine Tech). So after a month break I gained about .4 pounds from the last time I weight in at JC. For this round of JC I am hoping to hang in there long enough to lose a big chunck of weight like I did last time. 6 more pounds until I reach my 30 reward so that is my first goal.
Then last week I have been off the JC plan and ate a bunch of food. But I got back on track with my eating 3 days ago and I decided to joing Weight Watchers (I am loving the variety of food). I had my first weigh in at Weight Watchers today and even with my over eating I am still down 4 pounds! whoo hoo! All that exercise payed off I guess.
Last night I was battling with a piece of cake that was calling my name. It was this itialian pastry cake with cream and pudding and chocolate and pastries.It's in the house for our visitors that we have from Spain (half my family is spanish). Anyway I was home alone and the cake was upstairs and oh how I wanted to eat a piece. Well I had an isty bisty tiny weeny nothing of a bite just to get the flavor and then worked out. SIGH. I wish I could just eat a slice and still lose weight , but I guess that is not how it works. I can't wait until I am on maintance, so i can have a piece of cake every once in awhile. The fact that I am going to be dieting for a year seems overwhelming at times!
Well the whole WW and JC combo thing didn't go over that well this week. I ate a lot of sugar on WW days and my blood sugar was out of wack. I feel more hungry on JC however I am better able to stay in control with my eating. I did have a success this week though. I had an evening where I binged, but I got back on track the next day (no pitty party), and got in some extra exercise and still managed to love 1.6 pounds which I felt great about because if I didn't lose I would have felt like I wasted the week. Every week is very valuable to me b/c it presents the opportunity to lose 2 pounds and be closer to my goal weight.
Yes! I am doing Weight Watchers this week to get a break from JC food, so I will see what happens with that next weigh in I guess.
Another good week, but it is kind of bitter sweet b/c I am losing my hair and I have a bald spot and I feel sad about it.
