Oh yeah so happy it's Friday! I can't wait to sleep late tomorrow, do homework all day followed by website work.. wooohooo! A few friends and I are going out to a local hang out tonight to see a local cover band we like a lot. It should be good times. The place we are going to have the best wings in the world. At first when we decided to go I was like "oh yeah WINGS!" But after doing some thinking last night, I don't think I'm going to get wings. I will eat a healthy sandwich at home, and then go out. I will drink a few light beers, I watched something on TV a while back talking about what light beers has the less calories, and Corona light was the number 1 light beer.. So I will drink a few of those, and dance a little bit acting silly and goofy. It's all about making good decisions, and my good decision today is not eat at home and not get the wings.
We did not go to the gym yesterday. =( I was so exhausted by the time I got home after work. I even fell asleep on the bus ride home! I was super starving too! I think I need to bring more to eat with me to work! By 4pm I'm starving and holding myself back from hitting the vending machine. Today I'll buy a banana or orange from our cafe for when that 4 o’clock hunger rolls around. Last night we had fish.. yum yum.. With broccoli. Good dinner.
Today after work I have to hit the grocery store. We need:
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Bananas
Grapes
Breakfast bars
Milk
Lettuce
Dish washer liquid
And that's about it.. Nothing major, just little things.
This weekend I plan to pre-pack my lunches like I did for this week. It makes my mornings so much easier and stress free. And I'm also able to see what I have for the week to come and what I need.
For the gym.. I'm going to go solo tomorrow. The BF is working.. So I'll still get my work out in. Monday we'll start going again.. Mon, Tues, Wed seems to be the routine we like the most so far, so we will keep up on that.
I'll try to post tomorrow as well and check in on everyone.
For foods I have today:
Coffee
Yogurt
Progresso Soup
Special K bar
(See I need to bring more food)
Orange or banana
Dinner- Provolone cheese, ham, lettuce, pickles, mustard, on whole wheat multigrain bread.
Other- 3 or 4 Corona lights.

Migraines =(

Wow.. last night SUCKED!
I had a headache during the day. After I got home it turned into a full blown migraine. Through out the day I have already taken 4 Excedrin migraines, so I ate some tomato soup, hoping that would help ease it.. nope.. I ate a small snickers (chocolate sometimes helps)... Nope not this time. I ended up staying in bed for the night crying myself to sleep... I HATE migraines!
Today I feel a little better. I just have typical side effects of a migraine. Still have pressure on the side of my head, but I feel SOOOOO much better then I did last night. Hopefully the pressure goes away soon.
Sooo from those two paragraphs you could have guessed I didn't hit the gym last night. It's all right though I needed to rest. We are going tonight as well as my lunch time walk if the rain holds out.
I WI today. And I am pretty happy with the results. Over the weekend I weighed myself after being sick all week and my weight jumped back up to 157. Today when I WI it was at 153.. YAY Almost back to where I was two weeks ago.
Today for food I have:
Coffee
Yogurt
Special K bar
Progresso Soup
not sure what is for dinner... maybe fish? lol

We did it again!
We did it again! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

We ran we ran! The BF seems to like to run. This is great! He def pushes me a bit when we are on the treadmills which I don't have a problem with at all. Today after work we are going back! We seem to have a good routine going at the moment. And now with me taking the city bus home I get home faster then if I drove. So we get to the gym about 610 and we're out of there and eating dinner by 730. YAY not late at all. I really want to use the rock climbing room at the YMCA.. But I think you need to take a safety course before. I'm going to ask about that tonight. That would be a great work out!
Oh and how did I get the BF to start going to the gym with me? Well we have a YMCA 1 min away from our house, and we saw on the side of it.. "aquatics center". So one day we went in for a tour. They have an in door heated pool, racket ball courts, a full gym, a basket ball court, a BIG rock climbing room. So once he saw all the things we can do he got excited. We signed up last month and he's been a trooper with wanting to go. Definitly beats sitting at home in the winter doing nothing.. watching movies and vegging out.

On another note... My friend Ally FINALLY started posting here again. It would be great if all my friends gave her a warm welcome back. her name is importally on my buddy list. Say hello to her she's been missing from here for a while.
Today my plans are:
~To walk my lunch time walk. Which consisted of 2 miles yesterday.. So I'm gonna do those 2 miles again today!
~To run/walk 2 miles at the gym
~To do ab exercises at the gym
~to eat well
Today for fooding I have:
Coffee
Yogurt
Salad w/ Italian dressing
Apple sauce
Special K bar
Grapes
for dinner we may have some ham/cheese sandwiches.. we'll see.

Yes sir! I ran!

At the gym last night we decided to do the tread mill. I'm a fan of ellipticals, but there were only girls on those machines and the BF didn't want to feel girley.. (only guys were on the treadmills)... So we did the treadmill. We started with a brisk walk... elevated the incline to 7% which is pretty steep. Walked briskly for about 10 mins.... then put the incline back to flat and started jogging.
We jogged on and off for 2 miles! It was great! I was so proud of the BF.
gettinfit... When the BF and I go to the gym we don't split up. We work out together.. Which is nice cuz i got someone to talk to. Plus he has never been to a gym before so I teach him proper gym manners like wiping down the machines after you use them and how to use them correctly.. It makes me feel good kind of like a teacher. We're going back tonight to run some more. He really liked the running. I think I may be turning him into a runner lol. Maybe I can get him to do some 5k's with me. That would be great! After we ran we left. I didn't want to over do my body with trying to get better and all. We went to the grocery store, picked up some healthy snacks.. went home and made dinner. Which consisted of whole wheat ziti, organic vodka sauce, ground turkey, peppers and mushrooms. YUM YUM it was delish!
Today my plan is to work... then hit the gym for about an hour, come home and watch TBL and finish up my project for school. Which is due tonight. Tomorrow is the last day of this class phewey I can't wait! thennnn I start another... I can't wait for winter break.
On that note.. for fooding I have today:

yes I can make it happen! Yes I can do this! I'm all amped up about going to the gym tonight! so is the BF! He even stated we can meet right at the gym instead of me coming home first.. i said no.. I don't like leaving my purse in the car or in the locker room there.. I'ld rather leave it at home.. which is only 1 min away so no biggie. gym.. followed by alittle bit of grocery shopping.. followed by dinner... and then Heroes... then bed time.. Sounds like I'm back into routine..
Andddd I have to tell you.. I absolutely LOVE LOVE pre-paring my lunches! It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier and I have more time cuz I just grab my lunch for the day and go. I don't have to think about it.
So I have a confession to make.

I think I'm addicted to grocery stores.. lol funny as it sounds
But I absolutly love walking round in them and looking at stuff.
Yesterday I went to whole foods to check it out.. HOLY expensive! The same stuff, brand, size is at Trader Joes for 1/3 of the price. I have to admit I was greatly dissapointed and will probably not shop at whole foods. Granted they did have ALOT of stuff to choose from but whole wheat pizza dough for 5 bucks when I can get it at trader joes for 99 cents? Come on now! lol Plus Trader joes is closer to my house and on the route to home.. where as whole foods is not.
Blah what ever. I'm just ranting lol
So yeah I'm planning on hitting stop and shop tongiht lol (told you I'm addicted).
They have progresso soups on sale and I love those! Plus we need some toilet paper, cottage cheese, reg cheese, deli meat and bread, yogurt, hummas, bananas... little things. I think we are all set with dinner foods at the moment.. just finding healthy snacks is the key. Any suggestions anyone has?? I'ld love em!
ok.. time to get more work done

Wow I'm feeling pretty well. Not 100% but still pretty well. Friday after work the BF and I went out to dinner. I was craving some mexican food and figured since I've been sick lately damn it I'm getting my Mexican. (Bad idea and I'll tell you why in a min) So we ate, went to Walmart, came home and I passed out by 10PM. I guess I still wasn't feeling well.
Saturday I stayed home all day in my PJ's. I slept late, did home work and clean a little here and there around the house. Today!!! Sunday.. wow it's warm out. My friend and I didn't go to NYC but I decided to shower and get out of the house. I'm going a bit stir crazy. So before I showered I weighed myself.........
Yeah my weight jumped back up to 157.. YIKES WTF I'm thinking the Mexican food + being out of commission due to my cold helped attribute to that. Plus while I was sick I wasn't really watching what I was eating because I figured I need all the vitamins that food can give me. Ugh... Kindof back to square one. I'm hoping that maybe the mexican food was heavy, or I'm retainging alot of water from salt or maybe the cold made me bloat up? I dunno but I am changing it come tomorrow!
I pre-packaged my lunches for the week! Which is something I never do! I made sure on the gym days I have alittle something extra to eat. Here I come and I'm going to knock my butt back into gear here! But not too hard... I don't want to get more sick. Tomorrow after work I am hitting the gym, followed by a good fish dinner with salad and veggies. When I hit the gym tomorrow it will be mostly cardio, like I said I don't want to push it.
Ok now off to bed ladies... you will all hear from me tomorrow.

Full blown out sick

wow this happened seriously over night!
Just thought I lost my voice sue to the concert and partying since Saturday.. and this morning I woke up with a fever, stuffy head, etc etc.
I'm here at work... cuz I can't call out or leave early.. so I'm being miserable instead.. suffering through the day.. I can make it I can do this.. god I hate being sick. I just want to go home and go to bed.. Which is my plan at 6pm. I have no appetite I just wanna sleep. I did force myself to eat breakfast and lunch. i wasn't even hungry but I know I needed it. I never made it to the gym last night because I figured I might be getting sick and should go to bed early to fight off whatever I may be coming down with. Went to bed at 930 and woke up at 630 sick.. BLAH I did go on my lunch time walk.. which the fresh air felt great and opened up my sinus’s but now I'm here.. back in my cube... day dreaming about my bed...

Happy ELECTION day!
Or something like that lol. Here we are.. our country voting on our next leader.. I'm not going to get into a political thing because honestly I can't stand political debates and what not. Wondering who our country is going to choose to become our future, will the candidates really do all that they have promised to us? Or will they be liars like people in politics typically are. All we can do is wait and see. Hopefully who ever is chosen will lead our country into something better then what it is today.
now onto me...
I've pretty much lost my voice.. UGH this is annoying. When I talk I sound like crap. I've been this way since Saturday.. I don't feel sick.. I just have no voice. Yesterday I started to feel a bit sick.. so I skipped the gym, skipped meeting up with a friend and just went to the grocery store and home. We made an awesome seafood pizza OMG it was yummy! I then proceeded to pass out by 1030.
Today.... I gotta meet up with that friend after work... hitting the gym is the goal as well.
Tonight for dinner we're planning on salad, steak and broccoli.
Today on my lunch I'm planning on going on my walk.. 1.5 miles. then at the gym do another 6 miles or so on the tread mill or elliptical.. We'll see. as well as my ab routine.

special K bar
Sorry I’m not that talkative.. I guess being mute vocally is affecting me writing as well.
