yay for a digital scale lol

Yes I get amused by little things hahaha.  I finally bought a digital scale!! whoo hooo no more guessing if that number is a 4 or a 3.  and of course I broke my mini goal  of not hopping on it till next week lol.  This morning i stepped on it w00t 151 :)  How could I not though hahaha.  last time i was hopping on it before i went to the bathroom and after to see how much i weighed before and after lol.  yeah I know I'm bad but it was amusing.

I never made it to the gym yesterday I did another excercise.. haha shopping.  I ate pretty well yesterday and didn't let the taco bells, wendys and burger kings suck me in. 

Yesterday I had:

  • english muffin - 2
  • pop corn - 3
  • salmon pin wheel
  • salad w/ dressing - 2
  • shrimp  - 4
  • water - 30 -40 oz

Yeah that's what I'm talking about!!!!!!!

Last week I finally broke my plateau!!! After I want to say 2-3 months.  I dropped from 154 to 151 I'm soooooooooo Happy.  But last week I was scard that todays WI I would be right back up to 154.  When I weighed in this morning I wasn't!!!!!!  I stayed at 151!!!!!   OMG I'm so happy lol 
I took my measurements today... there was no change unfortantly.. and I took my body fat and bmi this morning:

two weeks ago
30.9 body fat
28.3 BMI

this week
30.2 body fat
27.6 BMI

Yesterday I ate really well and worked the prom last night and avoided the temptation of really good hourdurbs (dunno how to spell it)  and excellant deserts.   I admit I had one piece of brucetta  and 1 very small canoli.  But besdies that I was sticking to the veggies, cheese and WATER haha.  And for dinner I had fish instead of steak or chicken.. I needed something a bit different.

ok... so now.. No more looking at the scale till next Saturday!
I hope all of you are having a great weekend.  My plans for today are.. go to work for a little bit and work on the website for our company...   then call up my friend who lost her brother and try to get her out of the house and what not.. Maybe drag her to the gym to get her back in the rythum of every day life.  Then come home and cook some dinner and relax tongiht.

new month.. new goals

Today starts a new month weeeeeee!  I'm going to make some goals this month:

  • Do some sort of excercise every day!!!
  • Stop looking at the scale every day, only on WI day
  • Stop eating so late.  ( we usually have dinner around 8 or 9 pm)
  • Get down to 148 by July

So those are my goals this month.. Somthing little that I know I can achieve if I put my mind to it.

I made an amazing dinner last night!!! Thank you to CNLessofme for the recipe links.  I had Cola Chicken... It was DELISH!!!!  I didn't tell the BF what I had in there we took our first bite at the same time and had the same reaction OMG.  I will DEFINITLY be making that more often!

We never made it rollerblading last night due to a crazy thunderstorm plus he was at work late last night... We didn't eat dinner till 10 PM!!!!!!!  So thats why I wrote on my goals to stop eating late!  We did do 30 crunches together and another ab excercise.. but I still don't feel like that is enough.  Tonight I'm going to be working at another prom so tear down of all of our gear will be a nice excercise. And tomorrow I'm planning on hitting up the gym during the day!

I'm alittle upset I went over my points abit yesterday.. but I know it's no big deal.. it wasn't crazy over.. I'm a big milk drinker I LOVE milk!!!  I poured myself half a glass while I was waiting for the BF to come home (to help curve my hunger) then for dinner I had a whole glass.  6 points for the milk OUCH I can drink a whole gallon of milk if I wanted to.. I love it.

Also refering to my post yesterday he and I are both in better moods now after our chat.  So we did have a good evening together and we didn't have that fake wall between us!!!  YAY.

Anyways wow I blabbed today hahaha (its slow right now at work)

Anyone have a good healthy WW kindof easy chicken recipe they would care to share???

I'm looking for ideas on tonights dinner.. I know I took chicken out to dethaw this morning..   What shall I do with it???

finally some time!

Gesh what a busy day I am having!  We are slammed here at work.  (I do desktop support) the phones have been ringing off the hook.  Usually I post here first thing in the morning... It's almost noon!!!!!!!!  I havent even drank my first 20 oz of water yet due to being so busy... and I have lunch in 30 mins... so I must start sipping away lol

The BF and I have been in funk moods the last few days.. not wanting to do anything not really talking to each other.. We've been in personal bubbles.. He's thought I was getting sick of him.. but in reality I'm not.. I just think all this death around us, stress and other things are getting to us and we take it different ways.  We chatted this morning and I think every thing will be fine. But I tell you the mini depression has put us in a rut.  We were supposed to go skating yesterday but we instead laid in bed all night barely talking to eachother.  So he and i are going to turn it around and be positive!!!!!

This week it's supposed to rain for a straight week so skating is most likely out of the question... which give me a better reason to actually hit the gym and bike the 15 miles in 1 hour again!!!  That was such a good work out!! I was covered in sweat. YUCK but it felt so good hahaha.  Yeah I think I'm going to do that.. and get the BF to come with me.. so he gets some cardio also.

Yesterday I ate ehh sort of good.. I didn't go over my points!!!

Super long weekend

Well that was a super long weekend.  pretty nice but very untimely.  My bestfriends brother passed away last week so not only was my weekend full of doing work, but also full of wakes, candle lighting vigils and funerals. 

On another note.. I didn't keep track at all of what I ate this weekend.  I know on my offical weigh in Saturday I dropped 4 pounds   but then on Sunday i weighed again and I went back up the 4 pounds BOOOOOOOOOOOoo  so my goal is to by saturday get back to where I was 4 pounds ago lol  We havent gone rollerblading due to the busy weekend and havent done any exercising at all... nice way to blow it lori derrrrr

Sooooo now im back at work.. I gotta get back in the habit and re-doing.  So tonight definitly going rollerblading!!!

TGIF!!!!!!!!!

Long weekend ahead.. but like every weekend it's already packed up of stuff to do Annnnd I have another all night dance party thing that we have to set up for in Hartford sunday night.. run all night then tear down Monday morning.. soo relaxing weekend? haha I think not.

Yesterday after work I had to go to a wake.. my BF's cousin passed away.. they were pretty close, so I had to go there and that was like an hour and a half away from my house!  So we stopped for dinner with his mom on our way home at margarittas (damn i love that mexican food!)  I ordered seafood enchiladas, only ate half of it though and happy I did to to seeing it's about 15 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

No rollerblading last night   We got home about 930 I needed to shower, pack lunch and go to bed.  Maybe tonight after the 90 something degree heat breaks ugh!

Welcome to Thursday!  One more day to work then a nice long weekend!  As the title says... yes I'm still sitting at 154 haha I don't think I'm going to make my memorial day goal....  Even though today is not my offical weigh in.. It's Saturday but I like to peek haha Maybe this weekend I'll go buy myself a nice digital scale.. they're alittle more then I would like to spend but it would help me be more acurate instead of thinking 153/154 I can say "w00t 154.4" or soemthing like that lol

I didn't go rollerblading last night.  I figured I needed to let those little muscles in front of my shins rest a day before I go back out there.  Tonight we have a wake to go to... hopefully after that we'll be able to go. 

Yesterday I wasn't hungry like I was the day before.. it was odd. But the temptations of a work good-bye party made me a bit crazy.. hahaha  Cookies, brownies, lots of chips and dips so many good things.  I fought the temptation a bit, I ate my dip with some chips, and every time I walked past the table and saw the cookies I would come back to my desk and pull out a strawberry or grapes and so on and say out loud, "I fight your cookies with my strawberry"  yes I am a bit wierd but it amused the people who sit by me and kept me strong LOL.

Here's the recipe for my dip:

1 small avacado, 1 cup low fat sour cream, 1.5 cups of peach and mango salsa, 1 cup of low fat shredded cheese.  Cut up avacado in little pieces and mix it all in a bowl.  Serve w/ tostedos....    Very good!!! Semi healthy.  As far as serving size, cals and so on Im not sure I can probably figure it out If I read all the labels and decide what a serving is..  

Anyways.. I blabb too much hahahaha

Anyways yesterday was a great day but I dont understand what my issue was I was hungry all day.  Like seriously stomach growling and everything! I pack all my snacks and lunches for work normally Ill wait about 2 hours till I eat the next snack or have my lunch but it was like every 30-45 mins my hunger would kick in.  Not sure why.. Very odd.  I ate great yesterday!!!

And we also went blading again last night.  Did the mile yet it was harder then the other day (maybe didn't give time for the muscles to rest?) But.... I Still did it!! And I started to feel some different muscles working this time.. so lets hope those tone up nice.. bow chica bow bow.

Bellydancer commented yesterday that I have did a total 180.. and yes I have.. Maybe that little depression i hit a few weeks ago let me hit rock bottom and actually look at what I was doing wrong and gave me more motivation to loose the weight I need to.  I've also been reading threw alot of other peoples blogs and all of you guys show so much motivation it helps me getting motivated.  So thank you all for your help even if you don't think you do... All of you do.
