Back to work

Holidays in the middle of the week are wierd.  Work Monday and tuesday... have a day off which feels like a Saturday then work thursday and friday.

Yesterday I didn't do that bad but I also didn't do that good.  We didn't hit up any picnics.  And we got alot of rain.. so it cancelled our walk on the beach or even our firework plans for late night.  we made a pretty good dinner last night with low fat perogees, steamed veggies, and rice   with a salad before hand.

This weekend the BF is going to Washington DC to do lighting for the live earth concert.  So I think I'm going to take my little brother (he's 6) over night and maybe go to the gym and what not.. we'll see.

Today for foods I have:

  • Banana - 1
  • Yogurt - 1
  • Strawberries- 1
  • Grapes - 1
  • Salad - 0
  • Oil and vingear - 1

Total 5.....   for dinner we might be doing ribs and veggies.

now getting back into gear.
On my lunch yesterday i walked.  Here is the route i walked 
wooohooo 1.5 miles

last night for dinner we ended up going to dairy queen and i ate a mushroom swiss burger with some fries and a diet coke along with a small strawberry blizzard  :(

gratefully I only ate 5 points worth of food during the day so Im guessing i maxed out there

today is the 4th of July, a day full of picnics and parties.. Im going to go put some hours in at the shop building our website   www.corrpros.com.   if any of you ladies want to check it out.  Gratefully I dont think we are going to any picnics and parties so I dont have to worry about eating that junk food lol.

Kicking my butt

OK back in routine here.....  Thank you for the sickly wishes.  I'm ALOT better then I was.. Yet I'm having a bit of a chest cold but thank god I feel better finally.  Now the BF is catching what I had.  SO we're trying to stop it early.  I've been pumping him with vitamins the last two days lol. 

Last week was a super busy week.  Life happened and I havent made it here to post. Thank you bellydancer for checking up on me :) you are definitly a sweet heart.

I did leave work early Monday due to being sick and I slept.  Tuesday was a super busy day.  On Wednesday I got a PROMOTION at work!!!!!!!  Whoooo Hoooo!  6K more a year!  I am so excited and will finally financially be able to get on my feet!  Wednesday night the bf and I celebrated then my roomates cat tripped him and he sprianed his ankle.  We spent the rest of the night at the hospital ugh.  fun fun

We FINALLY went grocery shopping last night.  $130.00 later I actually have food to bring with me to work .  The bf and I vowed not to let our supply get as low as it was.  I was doing so great... then we ran out of food and ofcourse I started eating crap :(  So we gotta stay on it.

We havent rollerbladed in a while :(  and we wont any time soon due to his ankle being a bit sprained still.  BUT the bf said he'll join the gym with me.. and my girl ally joined the gym also so I'll start going to the gym again hardcore.  Plus it will help put my mp3 player to use more hehee...

So back on track here... Need to get back in routine!  I don't want to be another EPer blog that you come across and the person fell off the face of the earth!  I want to loose this weight and posting here has helped... BACK IN ROUTINE!!!  lets pick up the slack lori!  Lets loose that 4 pounds we lost and then gained back!! I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so sick :(

 I caught a cold grr I hate being sick in the summer time!  This weekend sucked because I felt like crap.  Sunday all i did all day was sleep on and off.

We never went grocery shopping.  We were about to then i couldnt find my check book anywheres :( so today on lunch i have to go to the bank and cancel my checks because she knows where they are :(

I was going to call out of work today cuz I feel like crap but my manager scares me and she gets very mad when you call out.. so I didn't :( ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hopefully tomorrow I feel better

It's already Thursday!!!!!1

and I'm close to the end of my shift!  This week has flown by!  The bf and I are going grocery shopping (FINALLY) on Saturay.  Thank god becuase there is like NO food in our house.. not even yogurt

Another Walk on Lunch

A co worker of mine tracks his lunch runs with a cool website so I'm going to start tracking my info also.  This is the outline of my walk today      I walked a pretty good portion of Hartford.. Long day yesterday.  I worked at an all night graduation party after I got out of regular work yesterday.  I got home around 330 and woke up around 8am this morning and now I'm back at regular work.

I've been doing so bad eating this week  I have to get back into the mentaliy i was in.  I can't let myself gain back the weight I just happily lost.  I have to kick myself in the butt!!!!  Granted I haven't been snacking on things like chips and what not.. But hotdogs/hambugers and some fries are not good.  Plus this past weekend I drank alot of beer also... Grrrr

GET OUT OF THIS HABIT! 

Yesterday for example I ate:

  • Yogurt
  • PB&J
  • Half a bonless rib
  • Salad w/ oil and vinagar (Ruby Tuesdays)
  • 2 mini burgers and some fries (Ruby Tuesdays)
  • 2 little brownies
  • 2 cans of sugar free Redbull

Now that I look at it... that isn't THAT bad..  but still I'm not feeling good about what I ate.  And I know we are eating the left over ribs from Monday night.  And we dont really have money for grocery shopping right now :(  hopefully I get a chunky check this week and at least pick up salad fixings for salads to bring to work.

Ok.. tomorrow is a new day!  I NEED to get back on track

haha I dunno what that is (the thread title) just thought of being funny on this tierd stressful day.. who needs a vacation?? I DO I DO!!!

So this weekend was pretty well I totally forgot to take my measurements and body fat... at least this sat Ill see a bigger difference I guess. lol Saturday I moved my whole room around!  What a work out that was and I visited some old friends.  Sunday was my sisters birthday so we had a big family cookout thing which was great times.

We have a new addition to my family hehe.. We got a leopard gecko for free last night!!!  It's so cool.  So I have been reading up on that during my free time today and I went to the pet store on lunch so no walk for me..

Due to reading Bellydancers blog... she has helped motivate me to go for walks at lunch time instead of sitting.

So today I walked to my car... noticed i forgot my keys.. walked back up the stairs and into the building got my keys walked back to my car.. put my car in the parking garage then walked by the river and up a TON of stairs then walked more by the river then walked back to work
