It's been a while

Wow, it's been alittle while since I've posted.  I've started posting on another site that has a lot of cool tools, articles workouts, tips, grocery lists, etc etc.  Hence why I haven't really been here.  But here is an update anyways.. :)  

My work days have been completely nutts and we have not even have had a moment to ourselfs to breathe.  Hence why I haven't been here as much as I'ld like.  My classes at night has been overwhelming me a little bit also so I haven't had the chance to post at night either.

On my lunches I've been walking about 2 miles EVERYDAY!  It's been like second nature to me.. I've been getting faster in my walks :) I have even been picking up the pase and power walking more.  I think starting the first week in Feb I am going to bring a change of clothes and start jogging on my lunches.  I think that will be a great idea.  That way I can go farther, burn more calories, and get more into something I was once into.  I'm excited to do this.. I really want to keep up on it!

My bf and I started doing crunches every night before bed.  We haven't done that in a week or so.  We need to get back in that routine.  I also haven't jumped any rope in a few weeks.. :( Thats something else I need to get into the swing of things.  It's just kindof hard to motivate myself to go in the basement right after I wake up and jump rope while the coffee is brewing.  I need to figure out a method of what works best for myself.

As always lol my cubboards are bare in my house.. Thank god I get paid tomorrow! We seriosuly need to go grocery shopping.  I've never seen the house this empty.. Hmmm maybe I'll go shopping tonight and kite a check so I have something to eat.  Jeppy is away on work and there is no food.. lol this sucks.  I can always go eat at my moms but they don't eat that healthy maybe ill just break down and check kite LOL get some yum yums for myself :)

Any cool healthy ideas and treats I should pick up????

freaking pedometer thing!

This pedometer is starting to get on my nerves.... It reset itself three... yes 3 times yesterday!!!!!   Grrrrrrrr at least I know the first two times it was around 2k each, i didn't catch what I was at the third time.   I gotta stop leaning up on things which causes it to reset.  I did alot yesterday too!  I even went shopping and did some serious house cleaning.  oh that makes me mad.

Anyways lol HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!!!!!1  I'm not one for new year resolutions but I actually have some this year  surprise surprise.  I am going to school come Jan 7th whoo hooo.. So my resolution is for me to

  • do great in school
  • Get down to a weight of 130-140
  • get another promotion
  • Pay off bills and debt one by one
  • Enjoy my time... go on more mini day trips and at least 1 real vacation.
  • join the Y so I can swim laps and rock climb

Yup those are my resolutions.. going back to School was one of them but now I'm already enrolled and my classes start on the 7th.  Im so excited :)

So today is nice.. It's new years eve but since everyone in the world has the day off it's pretty slow.  I don't mind it.  Allows me to pay my bills do some web surfing and catch up on now phone work.  I'm working till 630 tonight  OUCH... but then I get out of work and walk on down to the park.  My boyfriend is doing sound in the park for this first night festival.  So I'm going to go hang out with him, which is also at my friends bar... so its double awesome :)

my steps

Ooops forgot to update.

Anyways friday I got about 7k steps i was taking extra steps to try to hit the goal!  Still I was dissapointed in my steps lol.  Yesterday the BF and I went to Ikea (love that store)  and we went to the casino..  By the time I got home I had 14650 steps!!!  WHoooooooooooo hooooooooo I did great.  thank you casino haha. 

Today so far I didnt hit up that basement room.  Ive been cleaning and organizing our media room.  We got a little couch for it at Ikea yesterday so today i took apart my desk, cleaned cleaned cleaned I gotta put some stuff from here into the attic.  I should get moving on that back room in the basement.  But I just took a break.. (break time is almost over) now I just have to get the motivation back to gogogo. 

pedometer

Woohoo

yesterday was the first day I wore the pedometer all day and it didn't reset it self!  I ended up only taking about 6500 steps.. Nottttt good I need more steps.  Hopefully tonight I'll be able to hit at least 7k steps. 

Tomorrow is weigh in day for me.. I peaked this morning and from what I see it's up two pounds ohhh noes... but tomorrow is the offical day sooo hopefully I'll loose it and that was water weight or weight from the dinner i ate last night.  We need to go shopping for food.. our house is bare and I am broke.  I have no money till Monday this sucks.

This weekend I'm planning on cleaning house.  I'm also going to clean out the basement room so I can get my bootie down there and jump some rope! and also set it up so I can do some working out down there and not feel silly.  A few weeks ago i also saw there was a TON of dead bee's in there so now i have to figure out where the bees are coming in before it gets warm and they come back.

back to work

Back to work after a nice long weekend of Christmas maddness.   But I didn't do that bad.  I didn't over endulge with food, soda or beers.  I kept up drinking my water, and I ate till I was full not stuffed.  I did eat a cookie here or there but didn't eat a whole plate.  So over all... I enjoyed myself yet watched myself

Today I have been doing good also...

  • Apple

  • 1 cup of Chili
  • Apple
  • 32 oz of water so far...

So yeah little kitty (Moxie) and my other cat (pip) are good buddies now!  That was quick they are getting along really good.. good enough where they wake me up at 5 in the morning because they are chasing each other playing.  I woke up this morning and both of them were curled up at the foot of my bed licking each other... Ahhhhhhhhhh kitty love

So my Christmas was pretty good.. I got alot of cool stuff and a TON of gift cards :)  So we're going shopping tonight for a bit.  Also Jeppy got me the weighted jump rope I wanted Weeeeeeeeeee!  So my goal this coming weekend is to clean out the back room in the basement so I can use that as an excercise area.

YAYAYAYAY we got a kitten.  Her name is Moxie :)  shes such a cuddle buddy.  When my BF was in the room with her; her purring put him to sleep.  Look at the pics :)

wooohooo down a pound for the week.. how i managed that im not sure portion control maybe? 

today we are going to look at a few kittens wooohooo I can't wait ill post pics once we get one :) :) :) ::)

Sooo i was thinking... what is the one thing you would change about yourself physically?  For me it would be my round face, double chin and short neck,  I get that from my father ugh I hate it.  I wish i had my moms face and neck shape.  I look exactly like her except for that fact.  I would never do any plastic surgery or anything but if I could re-change things about my body that would be number 1 lol.

I peaked! Shhhhh

I peaked i peaked and liked what i saw... another half pound down.. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT it's not offical until tomorrow.  So I hope it will stay gone!

Tonight is my families cookie night.  My sister, mom, aunt and I are getting together to make lots of fattening cookies that I will stay away from lol.  I'll let the BF eat them all.. he has a crazy sugar tooth as it is.. lol

Tomorrow We are going to look at a new kitten for our house !!!!  I can't wait.  When my roomate moved out she took her cat (thank god i hated her cat) but her cat was buddies with my cat.. and now my cat is lonely and crys and howels.    I feel so bad for her... We play with her but she's still sad. SO kitten hunting we go... It's also alittle xmas presant to each other too.  so it's kewl.  I would post a pic of her but all image hosting sites are blocked at work .

The BF gave me an xmas gift early.  hehehe It was his decision not mine.. He got me a pedometer... But a cool one that gives you your steps and how many miles that is.  it also has a built in fm radio! woohooo so now I can walk and listen to the radio when ever!  He rocks.  Now hopefully he got me that jump rope too lol.. yes small things amuse me!

Yesterday I did ehh ok eating.  I had

  • Apple
  • 1 cup of left over spagetti
  • 3 cookies EKKKKKKKKK evil coworkers
  • Chicken breast
  • rice
  • 52 oz of water

So yeah I dd ehh ok.. I did eat dinner around 1030 last night!  YIKESSSss but I didnt get home till that time and I was starving at least I kept it simple  chicken and rice with water. lol

Evil Christmas co-workers

I've been bad :( yes we had our holiday work party.  Everyone brought in food and has been munching on stuff for the last two days.  I mostly kept it to cheese, crackers, and some meat (not pepperoni but something else).  Then later in the day the cookies and brownies finally sucked me in and I had a few.  Yesterday I only had some cheese and crackers and no bad stuff.   I know I didn't over do it.. I only had 1 brownie and two cookies.. BUT I gave in and I guess that upsets me a bit.

As far as my water progress... That has Been SOOOO much better then my eating.  With filling up the water bottles at home to drink it has made it so much easier to drink.  I've been drinking about 2 bottles of water a night which are 20 oz each!!!  plus my 32oz of water while at work!  Yesterday I even drank 64 oz of water while at work and drank 2 bottles of water when I was home!  Cutting out the milk little by little.

I was feeling snackish last night while watching the simpsons movie.  So I got my rice cakes... YUMMMM  The BF even made himself something healthy...  apples with peanut butter and craisins..  I think I'm rubbing off on him a bit hehee.

I got my TOM today so I feel crampy and like crap.  I havn't done the video since that night I did it at 1am  I gotta kick myself in the butt for that!

Growel

I'm hungry today!  I already ate everything that I have plus had my 32 oz of water and I'm still hungry! and I'm also here for another hour..   then I'm going shopping with my mom.. Please gods of the evil Mall don't tempt me to go to Arby's. lol

Yesterday was another snowey icey day.  We spent the majority of the day inside   playing darts, cleaning a bit, playing video games oh and cooking!!!  Yes I cooked an awesome dinner and I think I may have found something good and semi healthy for a ribs reiepe!!! 

I cut all the fat off the ribs and cut them into chuncks... then cooked them i the crockpot for 7 hours in Salsa!!! OMG YUMMMMM.. and we made taco ribs lol.  I made guacamoli and everything.  We set them up just like tacos. it was super good!  Today I brought alittle bit with me and put on bread and made a sandwhich.  wickid good.  and not as bad for you then honey barbeque sauce!

Yesterday I didn't do the video :( but I did shovel and scrape ice for well over 45 mins.. also I've been upping my water intake and have re-filling water bottles to drink them easier while I'm home.  and ill be happy to say I drank 3 20oz bottles yesterday :) woohooo  and only had 1 glass of milk!

today I've had:

  • rib left overs (rib and salsa) - ribs are too confusing to figure out points wise
